Who were you high on pre-season that panned out? (1 Viewer)

I had these guys on my preseason undervalued list:

Wes Welker

Kevin Curtis

Ron Curry

Lamont Jordan

Tony Romo

Jason Witten

Adrian Peterson

It's been a very good year so far.

Who did you guys have?

A little early to say who's "panning out" - especially for a guy like Curtis who did very little in weeks 1 and 2 and just had an explosion this week.

That said, Portis definitely, Lamont (who I grabbed in any league I could). Welker in PPR. Santonio Holmes, Brandon Marshall.

Also had Curry and Jordan ... I liked the individual components the Raiders had assembled on offense. They seem to be holding their own, even with McCown playing so much (I was counting on Culpepper being the out-the-gate starter).

I know this guy is just a kicker. But it's nice when an unknown gets the kicking job late in camp for a good offensive team ... allows you to be the last person to draft a kicker and still get decent production. Nick Folk is that guy so far.

One drfat-

Addai

Owens

Edge(3rd round)

AP

Andre Johnson

Kitna

Winslow(8th)

Pats

Cotchery(10th)

I was higher on FWP than most people in my drafts. I was getting him later in the round when I thought he was a top 5 guy.

Coles

Kitna

Curry

Wow, I'd like to see this link - talk about prophecy. Was this the entire list or were there many others?

Kitna

Welker

Green (as RB2 for LT so I could get 2 stud WRs)

Welker in 3 of 4 leagues

Witten

Addai

Sadly, the player I was most hoping to see pan out got hurt on his first catch, Hackett

A better question is who were you "down" on?

The most common mistake is being "high" on too many players and not "down" on enough players.

Curry was my 1 must-have guy this year & got him late in all my drafts. He's now a starter for me in all of them.

My personality leads to the opposite tendency:Preseason  hits: Ron Curry, Brett Farve, Donald DriverPreseason  misses: Tom Brady, Plaxico Burress, Tony Romo, MB 3, Westbrook, Chad Johnson, WelkerI did get several  correct but I will not list them here.

Schaub (he'll be good when he gets his weapons back)

APeterson (a lot of people we're scared of Taylor and/or the injury prone label - he's no more of a risk for injury than anyone else)

DBowe

James Jones

Witten

Daniels

FWP knew he was $$$$$$$$$$$ and now I've got him in a dynasty league for 5 years!!! Beautiful. (Stay healthy Willie.....)Knock On Wood

Lee Evans.

I projected him for 13 receptions and 65 yards by season's end. He's outpacing that by at least 100 yards at this point.

Guys I wanted as I felt the represented good value at their ADP:

Roy Williams - got him

B Marshall

Curry

A Green - got him

J Lewis - got him

Witten

KJ - got him but unproven value as of yet

E Johnson - got him but may be off on this one unless NO turns things around

Romo

Witten

Steve Smith

Portis

Venatari

That's about it that I actually drafted. Guys who have sucked the life out of me;

Lee Evans

Maurice Jones

Deuce McCallister

LOVED .....................Andre Johnson into the season, got him last pick round 4, was awesome, you know the rest.

LaMont Jordan and Wes Welker. I played russian roulette with both in my redraft league (wait a long time, feeling that my leaguemates would bypass them and then I could snatch them up very late) and won with Jordan, but lost on Welker.

On the other side of the spectrum, MJD is sitting on my bench
