Top 5:
  • Jahmyr Gibbs DET RB 16 20
  • Derrick Henry BAL RB 16 18
  • James Cook BUF RB 17 18
  • Ja'Marr Chase CIN WR 16 17
  • Kyren Williams LAR RB 16
I guess first we have to answer the question who is playing this week, and if they are, will they see normal usage.

Jahmyr and Ja’Marr will be going all out.

Anyone else?
  • Derrick Henry will likely play most of the game (normal-ish usage) as the Ravens clinch the division title with a win.
  • James Cook needs 1 TD to tie the Bills franchise record, 2 to break it.
  • Jah Gibbs needs 1 TD to tie Barry Sanders season record, 2 to break it.
  • Kyer Williams is one of six starters the Rams are sitting versus Seattle.

Who are 5 guys that I didn't have on any rosters this year (and who have never been in my kitchen)?

I am surprised I did as well as I did not having any of the TD leaders. (Two Semi finals, one Super Bowl, FBG Subscriber Division winner, and two money spots in my two non playoff leagues).

I don't have any special insider knowledge about how many snaps he'll get, but James Cook needs one rushing TD to tie the franchise record for rushing TDs in a season (two to break the record). It would not surprise me if the Bills left him active and gave him carries at the goal line this week. That would be in character for this staff.

Henry is going to get 2 this weekend.

He just might, I forgot the Ravens need to start off the weekend with a win to clinch the AFC North and they're the earlier game. Of course a Steelers loss accomplishes the same thing but they'll play their guys long enough to secure the dub.

This is going to be close as all of those guys have something to play for (IK pointed out the incentive for Cook) and have reasonable matchups to put up 1+ TDS.

I think it ends in a tie.

It seems fairly low risk if they’re just putting him in at the goal line, but if he got hurt trying to chase a franchise TD record, oof. I’m already dicey with the decision to start Josh to just keep his consecutive games played streak going.

And the talk this week has seemed to be more around setting the NFL record for most players with a receiving TD on a season. So there seems like more chance they’d be pursuing that versus Cook’s record.

Derrick Henry and James Cook are co-leaders - & likely remain so - as we head into Game 272

Congrats to Cook on tying the Bills franchise record + eclipsing 1000 yards rushing

Jahmyr Gibbs will need two scores to tie for the league lead
