Same here, but not as a knock against Fred, but more an affirmation of McFadden.Fred is running well, but getting up there in RB years with a highly drafted guy that the team really wants to see what he can do. McFadden is much younger and in the pecking order behind him is only Bush, who's as talented as just about any other backup RB in the league, but ultimately expendible by the organization. If both teams falter down the stretch, you can bet we'll see more Spiller. McFadden, on the other hand, will remain the clear cut guy as long as he's healthy.
FJax is a poor man's DMC. I'll take the real DMC. That said, I really wish I had FJax to pair with DMC as my RB duo. FJax's value in my redraft was amazing, but I sat there and disrespected him in every round. Dude can play.
I'd be thrilled to have either on my roster. Both of them are studs but they don't get the full respect they deserve (which should definitely change going forward).
I'd prefer McFadden over Jackson if I had to choose one. I wouldn't trade for Jackson straight up. McFadden can put up 100-150 combined yards pretty consistently every week. Sprinkle in some TD's and he can give you a monster game.
All I know is that I would have rather drafted a top WR or QB in the 2nd than DMC and grabbed FJax in the 5th or 6th round, I just don't see them being very far apart at the end of the season barring injury
I wonder how many ways people are gonna try to slide questions and advice about their team into the Shark Pool, like this is even a general question or something.
Go to the AC forum.
Less then 8 percent of people even prolly deal with this question.
