Who's buying low on Harrison? (1 Viewer)

Harrison has gone from putting up below average numbers to missing last week with a bum knee. I'm willing to bet Harrison owners are a little on edge right about now. Is anyone shopping for Marvin? If so what are you giving up for him?

For argument's sake, assume HP redraft.

Back in 2005 the same discussion was done.. I got him for a bag of chips.. I think Tatum Bell.. If its just like then expect a huge 2nd half. His value is lower due to age.. People tend to give up saying he is washed up but make no mistake he is far from that..

I'm trying to sell him in Dynasty.

Currently extended an offer of TB Graham and Harrison to a RB depleted Caddy owner straight up for Andre Johnson. Doubt he'll bite.

I would trade Graham in a heartbeat for Harrison.. I wouldn't move Johnson for Harrison.. Johnson's long term value is huge over Harrison..

I am a Harrison owner and I would throw him in on a deal. You are right though I prolly shouldn't.

The slow start is frustrating to the owner though.

I got right him after his injury for Deshaun Foster, (oh, and the bar tab) :goodposting: .

I am offering an 0-5 owner Cloes for him straight up. In my league Coles is #9 among WRs. I would keep Coles normally, but he has the same bye week as Moss and I'd rather not rely on Calvin and James Jones week 10. Its a risk though, with Manning focusing in more on Clark, Wayne wanting his receptions, and Gonzalez waiting in the wings, its hard to say what kind of second half he will have, especially since we really don't know the extent of Harrison's injury. Hopefully he will be OK after his bye but who knows?

Trying to make an offer.

Probably along the lines of V. Jackson, Curry, and Norwood for Harrison and Betts (I have Portis)

Would give me C. Johnson, Harrison, J. Walker, and Jennings at WR (we only play 2 though)...but would be good fill ins at flex with my injury and iffy RBs of Alexander, Benson, and Portis

Oh...and the Harrison owner is in dead last and struggling.

I just gave up Marvin Harrison today to the Larry Johnson owner but i had to also add Sammy Morris. I dont know if i overpayed for LJ but i already got bush and mcgahee and lj can take the wr/rb flex spot

I just offered Berrian & Curtis for Harrison. The owner has no startable WR3 & needs quantity bad. Still, I doubt he'll take it.

I got offered harrison for brees.....

Brees isnt hurt he just has sucked.

but harrison hasnt been better then my current WRs that i have (branch burress walker,Mason)

I turned down the offer because i dont NEED a WR plus he is hurt on a BYE week AND has been under performing all year...

Dumb move?

I was just offered Harrison for Steve Smith non PPR. I'm tempted to accept since Smith will be stuck with Carr the rest of the year, but I'm only hesitant beecause of the injury. Any thoughts?

Was thinking of offering Harrison for Andre Johnson, but couldn't really find any info on when Johnson would be back.

I'd laugh at you for that offer. You better sweeten it up a little.

Its an initial offer...the problem is that people in this leauge are killing me by never making counter offers. And while you may laugh...I laugh more looking at that guy's team right now.

I have Harrison, Smith, and Driver. I was offered Deshaun Wynn for any of them. I'm inclined to say no, but I'm banged up at RB (LT, Jamal Lewis, Lamont Jordan, Selvin Young, and Brandon Jackson) Any suggestions?

I just traded S Young and recieved Harrison. On the surface this may seem to be in favor, but there are roster issues that make this good value to my trade partner also. I will not bored you with the detail......

On another interesting point, this leaves my with Manning, Wayne, & Harrison. In Holod'em terms I am all in. I guess I am a Colts fan now....

Bump for market value *marvin deals* and any injury updates (sprained knee? vs. bruised knee?) - if this could turn into something like AJ's knee (MY PURE SPECULATION - after reading sprained knee).

Was offered:

Give - Portis & TO

Get - LJ & Harrison

Maybe in an Isaac Bruce kind of way.Harrison's days as an elite receiver are over.

I think it is wise to buy on Harrison because his value will never get lower than it is now

a. He is injured

b. Some people might think he is too old to return to elite status

c. He is on a bye week

d. Some may feel that Reggie Wayne is surpassing Harrison as the number 1 wr on the offense

This is the reason to buy. Harrison is still very good and he is proven. He always finds a way to get double digit tds. And in the last two to three years, Harrison has done better in the second half of the season compared to the first half. Buy all the way.
