Weird statement. There are at least 2 quarterbacks on each team.Haven't seen a qb who looks like he's playing the same position as Brady. not close -

You also won't win MVPYou make no sense, man.
Roll out the ridiculous comment about him not throwing TDs in 6 of 14 games then try to carefully justify your "position" - I didn't throw a TD in NE's first 4 games either...neither did you. Brilliant assessment.

No idea where you are going with this. Do I need to take acid for this post or something?I'm a weird guy.
Using your math then, there are 63 carnival weight guessers in the NFL and one guy with a scale

Rodgers better in almost every way. Take your blinders off.Haven't seen a qb who looks like he's playing the same position as Brady. not close -
But then i might see you.Rodgers better in almost every way. Take your blinders off.
Because style!Exactly, you may have seen 3,000 yards and 22 TDs before, but you've never seen it done with such zen before.
That's why Brady should win MVP, just because........
Brady has started 100 more games than Rodgers. If Brady never took another snap, Rodgers would have to go 93-7 to end up with the same record. And he'd have to go 15-3 in the playoffs to equal Brady's post season record.Rodgers better in almost every way. Take your blinders off.
Patriot fans, huh?Exactly, you may have seen 3,000 yards and 22 TDs before, but you've never seen it done with such zen before.

Nobody is.Brady has started 100 more games than Rodgers. If Brady never took another snap, Rodgers would have to go 93-7 to end up with the same record. And he'd have to go 15-3 in the playoffs to equal Brady's post season record.
Yeah, I get that wins is not really a QB category, but it's hard to argue against the Patriots record. Clearly it is from all the cheating.
2016 MVP isn't a lifetime achievement award. You really think Sabertooth was talking about careers in the 2016 MVP thread?Brady has started 100 more games than Rodgers. Let's hear it, NE/Brady haters. He only threw for a measly ~200 yards and 3TDs with no turnovers and dominated the Jesters 41-3. Ryan, Carr and Rodgers are better because their FF stats are better, right? Nuthangers
Matt Moore had excellent numbers vs the Jets a week earlier. Rodgers is MVP and Brady is runner-up.Let's hear it, NE/Brady haters. He only threw for a measly ~200 yards and 3TDs with no turnovers and dominated the Jesters 41-3. Ryan, Carr and Rodgers are better because their FF stats are better, right? Nuthangers
Wait, are you really this excited over lighting up the Jets? You do realize that Matt Moore threw 4 touchdowns against them last week, right? The Jets stink.Let's hear it, NE/Brady haters. He only threw for a measly ~200 yards and 3TDs with no turnovers and dominated the Jesters 41-3. Ryan, Carr and Rodgers are better because their FF stats are better, right? Nuthangers
take a deep breath. you're getting a little excited.Wait...with Carr's injury, maybe Brady now has a shot to be in the MVP conversation. Yeah? FF stats mean everything!!!! Sucks for Carr and Oakland, who is a smoke and mirrors team regardless, but you jamokes riding the nuts of Carr and others...what you got now?
Nuthangers
you jamokes
he makes convincing argumentsyou stat geeks

Not one mention of Matt Ryan, who leads the league in QBR, YPA, passer rating, etc.? And just set a record for having thrown TD passes to 13 different receivers this season?I am not sure who I would vote for between Brady and Rodgers, but both are clearly the MVPs of their respective teams and without them their respective teams would be pedestrian without them at the helm. Rodgers has been doing it without a viable RB and a pretty shady defense, but has tons of talent at wr. Brady on the other hand has talent around him which I feel is generated by his own talent. You take his supporting staff and move them to another team and few of them would be considered superstars in their own right. Up until the injury, Carr was also playing at another level and winning at a high level with a rag tag assortment of cast offs but with him now injured I guess we will see if it was him that pulled it all together. Too close to call at this point between Brady and Rodgers - have to wait to see how the playoffs shake out. Right now I would give the edge to Brady because they are already in and the dude is just nails, but if Rodgers pulls off the miracle to get the Packers in with that defense and his lack of a viable RB....I could be persuaded to give the nod to Rodgers.
#2 seed in NFC, and he has been great beginning to end of season, which the others cannot say.Not one mention of Matt Ryan, who leads the league in QBR, YPA, passer rating, etc.? And just set a record for having thrown TD passes to 13 different receivers this season?
I'd agree...great that ear by Ryan and has his team in prime position. If Atlanta wins next week, Ryan will win the MVP. 3rd in pass yards, 3rd in TDs, 1st in QB rating, single digit INTs, #2 seed in NFC, more wins than Brady or Rodgers, higher QB rating than Brady & Rodgers, higher comp %, performed as good or better (definitely better than Brady against Den) against the 2 tough pass D's: Denver & Seattle.

Yeah, my bad. Sorry, guys.
he makes convincing arguments
@Bad_Mo:
2. Keep the personal attacks way down. I understand it's football and you're passionate. I am too. But I'm seeing the tool factor going way up in some of these posts and we can't have it. Disagree, argue, debate, support, critique whatever. But if you can't keep from calling the other guy a dumb###, you won't be posting here. This is the time of year when I have 10,000 urgent things to do every day. So please don't push this.
Good points, add him to the mix. I am not sure I have watched an Atlanta game this year which is probably why I neglected ot mention him.Not one mention of Matt Ryan, who leads the league in QBR, YPA, passer rating, etc.? He also cheated less than Tom Brady, which has to amount to something as well.Bayhawks said:If Atlanta wins next week, Ryan will win the MVP.

Not sure how anyone can make that argument for Brady this year. Other years definitely, but not this year. #1 Defense in the league, 3-1 without Brady, 2 of those 3 wins came against teams going to the playoffs.Mr. Know-It-All said:I am not sure who I would vote for between Brady and Rodgers, but both are clearly the MVPs of their respective teams and without them their respective teams would be pedestrian without them at the helm. Ryan and Brady had really good years - they're close to Aaron. Rodgers and Ryan have similar passing numbers, but Rodgers ran for over 300 yards and 4 TDs. Rodgers also came on really strong later in the season against some good defenses - MN, SEA, HOU and PHI. For one game, I'd rather have Rodgers. If Brady played the entire year, he'd be in the conversation.Rodgers is the MVP and it's not even close.
Rodgers has been coming on lately but he was mediocre early on. He's been dinking the ball around (7.2 ypa) while Ryan may reach 5,000 yards with a 9.3 ypa (which is pretty insane to think about).Rodgers is the MVP and it's not even close.
Update: Actually, I think David Johnson is definitely in the running too. Rodgers or Johnson or both. I'd be cool with that.
