Delonghi looks like the best of the entry level options. though i know nothing about these machines so i'm basing that strictly off reviews. tell me what i need to know.

We have a delonghi espresso machine. We love it. Not sure what difference is.

Glad I got in at 10 when I did.  I'd still put the kid's tuition on the under.  I can see 5 maybe 6 uses tops. 

Those things needs to be cleaned after all.

iirc, we got it at bbb and used one of those 20% off coupons we frequently get.  we love our coffee and for us it has been worth while.

whorebucks= $4 x 2= $8/day -> $2920/yr

we get the 2.2lb bags of lavazza for about $20 once per month.
