Will Obama pardon Hillary? (1 Viewer)

And then continue to watch their premiums go up.  Can't wait to shove their noses in it.
Have you seen how much premiums are going up anyway in 2017 if nothing is done? Plenty of people have already been getting their noses shoved in it.

My point is that what will be done won't change things, yet people have been conned into believing that a repeal of ACA and "removing the lines" will actually accomplish something.  It doesn't address the fundamental issues driving healthcare costs and Trump has never had a legitimate proposal to fix our system.

Now that Trump has won, it's time for his supporters to defend his platform without juxtaposing it with Hillary or Obama.  So far I have yet to meet anyone that can do this.  I'm guessing that most will learn that the emperor never had clothes and that all it took was a few cheesy slogans and a redirection of focus back to Hillary to get most people to bite.

Got it, thanks.  Are you a fan of Ben Carson?  I never considered him a viable Presidential candidate, but hope he plays a prominent role in Trump's administration, and has some influence in health care reform.

I wrote in the other thread that for the sake of the country, Republicans should drop this. But it looks like they're not going to:

Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah.) indicated Wednesday he would continue probing Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server despite Clinton's loss in the election.

“It would be totally remiss of us to dismiss [the email investigation] because she’s not going to be president," the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee chairman said, according to The Washington Post.

So to answer the question of this thread: no way should Obama pardon Hillary or grant clemency. Because if the Republicans and Trump pursue her, it only makes them look ridiculous and helps Democrats in the long run.

You seem very angry and pessimistic.
Not really angry more shocked I think.

Pessimistic is probably an understatement looking over his potential cabinet: Newt, some Goldman Sachs dude, some oil guy, Rudy, even had Palin on some list.

That's fantastic!

After this ugly campaign I don`t think Trump is going to go after Mrs. Clinton again and reopen wounds. They will probably make some sort of deal that she will agree to ride off in the sunset and he will let her go and enjoy retirement as her political career is over.
There's nothing about Trump's personality that suggests he will just forgive and forget and move on.

Personally, I think there's no way Obama pardons Hillary.   Why would he?   Also, no chance she does any jail time.
Well ...........

The White House on Wednesday refused to say whether President Barack Obama would consider pardoning Hillary Clinton for her email scandal, but appeared to issue a warning to President-elect Donald Trump, saying powerful people should not exploit the criminal justice system for "political revenge."

Even if she's pardoned, she and the Clinton Foundation could see many, many requests from foreign entities seeking the money back. If there's no quid, they'll want their quo back. And what happens if/when she has to admit it was pay to play.
