Hey Johnny U... and everyone else. I've noticed that Suggs can go pretty high in drafts, Green never goes high. Since this poll is a virtual deadlock, I think that's one of those "Things that make you go Hmmmmm".

Looks like 50% of people on here own Suggs in a league and 50% own Green. That's about the only conclusion I draw from this poll.

i'd still like JJ to clarify for us whether or not it was a typo by saying 2005 rather than 2004 in the poll question.

OMG. I feel like a tool, I do mean THIS year. I don't even know what year I'm in, my momma has been nagging me so hard, Michael is preaching to me, Thelma is just plain Fugly and Wilona keeps groping me. Fudge, I mean 2004. Hopefully were not Flawed, but I think this year determines next year anyway in most peoples minds. :gang: :gang1:

It's flawed.But not JUST b/c of the year. ;)

I'm firmly entrenched in the Suggs camp, but not necessarily because I think Green is that bad (although I think off the field problems will be his downfall), I just think Suggs is that good.

William Green reminds me of a description once given to Rickey Dudley--"Body by Porsche, Brasins by Mattel". I think the man is an idiot and will not have his job by midseason.

Willie is up 90-80, probaly up for good.LOL @ people taking Suggs in the 4th/5th rounds of dynasty drafts. :rotflmao:

what do the results of this poll have to do with where either RB should be drafted?

Williams Green will be the girlfriend of a guy named Bubba Suggs at the local state pen within a couple of years.

So William Green leads your boy Lee Suggs in the poll and that's the best you can come up with? Weak. Two weeks into training camp Lee Suggs will probably suffer his annual injury that sends him to the IR. Face it, Suggs is a walking gimp.

Green owners, you do realize that it does not matter how many aliases you create and vote for Green, it doesnt improve his odds of being the starter.

Too bad Suggs owners can't realize that no matter how much they pimp Suggs and no matter how much they point at Green's troubled past, it's ultimately Butch Davis' decision to make and the fact that Butch Davis stuck with William Green when he could have easily cut him speaks volumes. You don't stick with your first round RB through the tough times to sit him on the bench when he gets his life straight. No amount of pimping Suggs will help you Suggs owners.

Thats right about the same time Willie ends up in jail, right?Colin

I own both so all I want is one to emerge..But in regards to suggs, he had one injury to his knee that he came back from pretty good (I hate compares, but I recall Priest having Knee issues) and his shoulder was kinda overexaggerated, even if not, he looks to have comfrom that okay... whatelse?? Suggs before the knee was figured to be a possible overall number 1 RB.... if Suggs is a bum, so is mcGahee? right??

Confucius say: William Green is the man in Cleveland despite the smokescreen from Butch Davis. Lee Suggs will crack like a dry leaf in the wind once the pads come on.

If the kids in college beat Lee Suggs up so much (Knee injury/shoulder injury), I'd hate to see what NFL players will do to him once he plays more than two games. Lee Suggs is brittle and can't handle the pounding of the AFC North.

Bubba Suggs (Lee's distant relative in prison) says to Willie, you my ##### now and you sit down on the toilet when you pee, you hear?

So, what you're saying then, is W Green is a great value, and stay away from Suggs?

You mean like Jamal Lewis?

:rotflmao: @ comparing Suggs to Lewis. I'm sure the 2000 yard man will be flattered to be compared to a turd. :gang:

JJ Evans you beat me to that comment. Lee Suggs couldn't hold Jamal Lewis' jock and now we're comparing Lee Suggs to Jamal Lewis? Who will we compare Lee Suggs to next? Jim Brown? LOFL @ Lee Suggs owners pimping their man even when the ship is sinking.

We're comparing Suggs' college injury to Lewis' college injury history and the assumption by BDK that if he were injuried in college that there is no way that he could play in the AFC North without being hurt. Which has been proven by Lewis to be a fallacy.Where did the comparison go further than that, other than in JJ's - shall we say - fertile imagination?

JJ's delivery may be a bit combative, but his final conclusions are very valid and usually right.Just because he isn't an English major doesn't make his final conclusions wrong. You go JJ, you've got a lot of fans on the board who can see your a man ahead of your time that can see through the trees. Many thought Einstein was a nut, but history has proven he was genious.Einstein is to science what JJ is to FF.

That is clearly left to be seen - the season's still several months away.I hesitate to annoint anyone "right" or "wrong" - but JJ apparently has an opinion you agree with, which is great.

Gentleman- Wake up call!! Lee Suggs is definitely the best back in Cleveland. Look no firther than what he did when he got the call at the end of the year. In a must-win game for Cincy he busted for 186 yards and 2 TD'S, with one being from 78 yards. Suggs slipped to the 4th round only because of his knee injury and he is clearly the back with the better work ethic and character. For those of you that pick Green over Suggs ...... BIG mistake!!

Safest bet is to pick them both as your #3 RB and hope it isnt a RBBC.

Wow! William Green huh? (popular vote at the moment) I just don't see him getting his act together. I think his best chance is for Suggs to just stink up the joint. Which is possible.

if the whole of your argument is suggs ONE game in cincy, then im not swayed. jamel white put up similar numbers late in the season for the brownies a few years back. yes, suggs has more talent than his 4th round selection and fell because of shoulder and knee injuries, but one game does not a player make.the fact that butch is still giving green a shot makes me think that there is a bias for him in the cleveland organization...

I believe Shick already knocked down this false accusation in another thread. Happy hunting boys. :boxing: :gang:

I have NEVER seen a poll as close as this one.. I feel sorry for owners of either...However, I wonder if the folks that voted OWNED either of the players in Dynasty. Obviously, these people shouldn't vote because we all know that's just flaVVed.

Thanks PB, that was a very diplomatic way of putting that.It seems the annual watering down of the pool is starting early this year.BTW, I like the fertile comment. I know what a lot of farmers use for fertilizer.

This poll is deadlocked, with both guys having 130 votes. I went with Green, but this is still a crapshoot. Green was a higher draft pick and with more money invested in him, he'll probably get a shot at some point. The bigger problem is Cleveland's poor offensive line.

I'd say you're crossing the line Wittyname. Name calling by me has been limited to Lee Suggs, it's really not cool to talk like that about posters, weather you like or dislike what I or anybody else says. Why would you go the route of personal attacks is beyond me and I am offended.

lmao! I sincerely hope that you are fishing. When you completely misrepresent someone's argument, and then do so derisively, what exactly do you expect? To be showered with rose petals?
