The pitching is a little iffy, but the lineup is solid.

Looks pretty solid, other than some uncertainty around how many innings you'll get from Strasburg and Bedard. Your 3-4-5 hitters look really strong if you can get anyone on base in front of them.

If Weeks and Hanson are healthy, that's a very good start. Hanson really worries me - you never want to hear about a guy changing his delivery to avoid getting hurt, as it almost always leads to working new muscles and then straining those new muscles. But I like your 2-3-4 starters a lot and you have strength at SS/C. Of course it all hinges on Miggy being a usable 3b.

I love your rotation. Your lineup is not good, but at least they draw walks.

Since the rest of you are doing it...

3b Youkilis

1b Teixera

RF? Werth

C Soto

LF uh oh

CF? Crisp

SS yikes

SP1 Roy Halladay

SP2 Josh Johnson (1st 7 games, no clue after that)

SP3 Ricky Nolasco

I think Ethier and Swisher should be solid. Murphy is a wild-card. He has good offensive skills if he can stay healthy. Ruiz has has a .400 and .371 OBP the last 2 years. The key is whether or not Dunn bounces back. If he does, I should be okay. Everyone else is solid enough to manufacture enough runs to stay competitive with my rotation.

I love that bullpen tandem. I would never do it - I'd rather fill my rotation and lineup first and hope for the best with relievers - so it's hard for me to say that I love your team until you fill them out some more. I guess Teix was your 2nd rounder? Coco should be a better CF than Werth (assuming he plays regularly). I like Soto and Kendrick but Youk has trouble staying healthy at 3B and JJ has trouble keeping his arm intact.

Lee and Alonso can probably platoon in LF if Miggy has to play 1B, but I'm hoping Miggy is at least not completely worthless at 3B.

Shouldn't be any surprise considering his 1st 4 picks were on the rotation. Pretty extreme strategy. About walks. I had a similar offense last year (not intentionally) that had a ridiculously low BA across the board, but walked more than most. The problem I had is the sim is terrible about advancing runners on outs. I probably didn't have 10 times all year that a guy scored from 3rd on a groundout or flyout and my team wasn't even slow. Actually, I couldn't get guys to advance to ANY bag on groundouts. I think you have to plan on hitting in your runners and using more SLG than OBP, just in my sample size of my 162 games last year.

Last year I drafted Bautista at 3B without really having a backup plan. It was a really agonizing wait until the Jays finally played him there over the summer.

Was my favorite team after 5 rounds when I looked at every team. Haven't really gone through team-by-team again but I'm assuming this would still be one of my favorites, although I do agree with JFranco on the RP thing.

Sure, why not:

1 De Aza, Alejandro OF

2 Prado, Martin 3B

3 Gonzalez, Adrian 1B

4 Avila, Alex C

5 Duda, Lucas OF

6 Francoeur, Jeff OF

7 Aybar, Erick SS

SP1 Price, David SP

SP2 Pineda, Michael SP

CL Papelbon, Jonathan RP

...

A lot of fluidity here, of course. Aybar could hit earlier in the order if he has a return to his 2009 numbers, but that might have been an aberration. Prado should again qualify at 3B, as Chipper Jones should skip a sufficent number of starts. That's not in stone either -- Prado could just as well end up in my OF.
