Sac fly.I currently have3 starters that haven't taken a walk and another with an OBP lower than his BA (is that even possible?). Fun.
Stock watch:Whoever has Phil Hughes: way down
I suspect we'll also see more trading during the sim as well.Stock watch:Whoever has Phil Hughes: way downI think I am going end up a few innings short, but that looks like it might be a common problem. On the bright side I might have excess CA and MI plate apperances which are looking to be a premium. It is going to be real interesting to see how these final rosters end up. I think there is going to be a lot trading going on come October.
Well at least I have a plethora of crappy IPs and PAs to choose from. I also love that my initial SS now 2B has the yips.Stock watch:Whoever has Phil Hughes: way downI think I am going end up a few innings short, but that looks like it might be a common problem. Who would have figured that fielding would be the undoing of Jack Wilson?Well at least I have a plethora of crappy IPs and PAs to choose from. Early results, but I am totally digging this pick.14.07 - Bogart - Alexi Ogando - SP/RP
I should probably be able to wait on this guy, but just in case, will go ahead and take him.
1.30 ERA and a 1.128 WHIP last year. He will be this year's CJ Wilson, not Feliz.
I have Ogando in a bunch of leagues that count.I thought the Rangers wouldn't waste Feliz by putting him in the bullpen and Ogando would close, but this works too.Early results, but I am totally digging this pick.14.07 - Bogart - Alexi Ogando - SP/RP

Hoping for enough Uribe starts at SS to get a decent rating. Although it would be nice if he could hit over 200.I have no idea how anyone is talking about trade now. Sure, needs might be showing up. But we are all one injury and one trade away from our areas of depth turning into areas of weakness.I have 8 RP with at least 4 appearances along with 5 pitchers with 2 starts and 2 more who should come back from injury to give 20+ starts. I am looking plenty of PA's to fill up the position needs. Posey backed up by Whiteside should give enough PA's, Davis at 1st with Helton on the bench, Barney as a platoon major player at 2nd with Rhymes getting PA's, Castro at short with Barney as his backup if hurt, Rolen at 3B with his backup Francisco along with Uribe getting PA's at 2B and 3B so far and probably SS to come, and I have 3 everyday OF's with Murphy and Craig and maybe Duncan looking to get enough PA's for the bench. However, a couple of injuries and I would be in full search mode for PA's.Furcal WAIT!!!!11111Looks like Larry needs SS help now. May want to talk to Hoos...though DeJesus was brutal before going down.
Isn't that the fun of this though...right now I have 3OFs getting regular ABs with one guy having a bad tummy. I'm a Damon pulled calf from being close to dead.I do think it will be tough for me to not have enough IPs though. I'll be close to 200 by Friday which is less than 10% of the season.Hoping for enough Uribe starts at SS to get a decent rating. I'd been considering using Schumaker or Weeks at SS for a while now anyways...now I just need to hope Weeks doesn't get hurt...Furcal WAIT!!!!11111Looks like Larry needs SS help now. May want to talk to Hoos...though DeJesus was brutal before going down.
Not to mention the defense for that group will be pretty awful. How's this for a starting OF?Vernon Wells .091/.149/.114Travis Snider .147/.275/.265Juan Rivera .133/.257/.133
Noted. I am in wait-and-see mode, though.I think I am going to end up with about 6 useful relievers. That is 2 more than I am legitimately going to need. If anyone is interested I am looking for a hitter at 2B.
One of the things I'm really interested in is how the rankings in Fantrax compare to the simulation when we get to it. Also, thanks to TRE. This whole thing is awesome IMO, more fun than any other fantasy league or sim I've ever done.the Fantrax thing is great. thanks again, TRE.one suggestion: make the PA and IP categories "real" categories, so that teams are ranked and sorted. easier to see who might have depth, and also i think these cats are nice proxy measures anyway.
Big Day for Sammy3469...Gallaraga's dump managed to dump me into last place. Yippee. I actually don't think my team is that bad, but no depth at the moment after the guys that would start.Big day for TRE's Magic Wandy's yesterday...jumped 7 spots in the standings!Good games for Hanson and Haren as well as a .514 obp for the day is all it takes I guess.
The Hamilton injury makes Borbon a lock for not missing any playing time for a while. The Rangers calling up Chris Davis over Endy Chavez or Craig Gentry tells me that they are set to roll with Borbon in CF from here on out. The only other guy that could play CF is Murphy and that is shaky at best. Now, if he could only improve on the 0.160 start...Posting from phone... julio borbon available?
Any chance Moreland will get some PT in the OF?The Hamilton injury makes Borbon a lock for not missing any playing time for a while. Very good chance. Instead of calling up an OF to replace Hamilton, they called up 1B/3B/K Machine Chris Davis. Moreland becomes the 4th OFer by default. No one else on the bench, Young, Blanco, Davis can play the OF. So there will be days where you see Young/Davis/Napoli at 1B and Moreland in RF/LF to give Cruz or Murphy a day off.Any chance Moreland will get some PT in the OF?The Hamilton injury makes Borbon a lock for not missing any playing time for a while. Rumors floating around about a herniated disc that would require season-ending surgery...Joe #######' MauerLeg weakness? And if he's that bad off, he's not going to be right in 15 days.

Why wouldn't you get stats from both games? How do doubleheaders work? Do I get stats from game 1 on the day of the original game or do I get both games stats today?

I was referring to the "live scoring"... Was wondering if they'd update in real time with the rest of the teams or if I'd have to watch the boxscore...it had game 2's time listed (it changed overnight from the original start time) and was late to start updating the stats for both games...Why wouldn't you get stats from both games? How do doubleheaders work?
