WIS MMXIII Back to the Future 3 - MLB107075 (1 Viewer)

My bullpen is a catastrophe, which I didn't see coming. I have no idea if I'll end up with a serviceable rotation or not. I have a ton of outfielders so hopefully I can make a trade.

Darvish/Scherzer/Holland, fronting the rotation, look pretty good so far.

SS and C are debacles so far. Need Avila to pick it up and/or Grandal to play well.

I might end up with MINF help to trade. Not sure what I want back yet though.

C- Doing good on ABs, hope Ruiz can actually hit the ball next time he feels like playing.

1B- Loney is awesome. Freeman is as expected. Carlos Pena might need a different team.

2b- Ellis has been solid, but has spent time on DL. Won't matter though as Lowrie and Profar have both spent time at 2b

SS- LOL, ridiculous. Lowrie .305/.385/.439 is still way behind Gregorius .324/.385/.541 Profar has also played some SS

3B- SUCKS... Youk has been OK, but missed tons of time. No real backup

OF- Mixed bag. Heyward has been a huge bust, but Nava and Schaffer have been awesome so far. Kinda hope Schaffer quits playing soon because I know he can't keep this up. Jay Bruce is fine. Stubbs is a 5th OF.

SP- Doubt anyone is topping Kershaw/Burnett right now as a 1/2. Falls off a cliff from there though. I need Gee to at least get respectable and stay in their rotation. Zito is OK for a 3 or 4. My only other hope is if Wheeler gets called up and puts together a short season run.

Bullpen- Jansen and Kimbrel have been slightly less than expected, but its still a really good, deep group.

So ya, I'll probably need a 3 or 4 starter and a partial 3B somehow.

Offense should be solid

C Pierzynski .274/.311/.398 and Kratz .234/.300/.421

1B Edwin .265/.342/.510

2B Gyorko .269/.333/.434

3B Headley .259/.366/.432

SS Tulo .337/.404/.633

OF Melky .292/.339/.392

OF Victorino .283/.343/.362

OF Rios .284/.344/.505

Bench(Some potential trade bait)

OF Soriano .273 /.307/.415

OF Hicks .165/.240/.323(getting a little better and hopefully will have a decent glove)

3B Chavez .325/.368/.588

2B Solano .278/.333/.324

CI Dobbs .224/.287/.276

Pitching

3 Starters with ERA below 4: Peavy/Milone/Miguel Gonzalez

4-5 will likely take some cobbling: Wade Davis, Scotty Diamond, Capuano, Garret Richards all currently at 5+

Bullpen looks decent

3 Guys with solid IP and ERA under 3 Blevins/Cook/Loupe

Bryan Morris Pretty solid ERA just over 3

Albers could be OK if he gets his control in order and Tim Stauffer could turn into something

After that there are a hand full of guys that could improve or continue to suck, crap shoot

My offense or lack there of...

C Tyler Flowers 211/279/352

C Miguel Montero 192/280/275

1B Paul Konerko 241/306/362

DH Travis Hafner 256/373/496

2B Darwin Barney 206/291/344

3B Luis Valbuena 264/372/464

3B Alberto Callaspo 261/316/395

SS Brandon Crawford 283/350/446

SS Andrelton Simmons 249/282/373

SS Eduardo Escobar 228/271/354

OF Alejandro de Aza 242/290/405

OF Leonys Martin 280/328/430

OF Giancarlo Stanton 227/341/387

OF Josh Willingham 213/364/444

OF Eric Young, Jr 261/308/396

That's right. Brandon Crawford and Luis Valbuena are my two best hitters so far (that actually play a position).

At least I have a staff...

Loving my starting line-up and starting rotation right now. May need some bullpen help. Almost assuredly will need some OF help on the bench. I took waaaaaaaaaaay too many Cs in the end game. Should have drafted more OF and RP.

Someone has to be first in the Fantrax standings so it might as well be me. It's early and nobody ever has much of a margin for error in terms of playing time. I currently have no major positional shortages, although my SPs could use some depth. Also have Beachy, Pineda, and Carpenter coming back soon.

RP is Smyly and nothing else.

FIller

Mitchell Boggs crapped the bed. Freddy Garcia and Rich Hill can eat some innings.

I like my pitching staff as long as my starters stay healthy. My pen is pretty deep. My offense should be ok, nothing special. I am short on PA's at catcher, but I might have some MIF to trade away and if Ludwick comes back at all I should have some extra OF PA's.

My offense is gross. Dont have enough SS innings either.

My bullpen is kind of ridiculous though.

Trying to make sense of my lineup is really complicated. I have only two players who have gotten regular everyday PAs all season (Miguel Cabrera and Adam Jones), but I have 16 players who have at least 100 PA. And that doesn't include Gordon Beckham, who has 81 PA but should be a regular the rest of the season. Brendan Ryan and his .514 OPS are third on my team in PAs with 219.

With the state of the left side of my INF, I never will be has happy as I am now to hear Brandon Moss played 2 games at 3B this season.
