WIS XV: Alphabet Soup with a side of Salary- Draft & Season Thread (1 Viewer)

If Carlos Zambrano wasn't on my pitching staff, I would actually think it's pretty decent. I'm sure the Cubs have thought the same thing for years.

So we're going to finish this thing today, right? Divisions ready? We should be ready to get this thing off the ground with WIS tomorrow since half the league is apparently already in SimLive.

$/IP is strangely high for CZ. I imagine $/IP is not a magic-key number, but it still makes me wonder. And it's not for his fielding, either.

The sim live divisions are great until we get into the season and six of the people who requested a sim live division, never play a game. Preseason sim live<>regular season sim live.

From my experience here are the guys who play sim live during the season with great frequency:

Mr Phoenix

Me

Greco

Shake

Koya

Pump until he gets mad and quits

Sparty

RnR

I haven't been in the league with many of you newer guys except two iterations ago where I remember Arsenal and Moops playing a lot.

I think I played more live games than anyone last sim....I love playing live. It seems like guys want to play alot for the first week or so, then it tails off.

Lolly boy deserves the boot for being a dragon-fearing idiot, and Tre deserves the other boot for similar reasons.

I forgot you, but you've played a lot of live games over the years too.

Tre plays five games and then we never see him again. Larry should be booted because when you are playing live with him, he lets his team go to auto commands and has 30 minute line-up changes which gives you the eerie suspicion he may be masturbating to mideget pr0n.

OK, the crowd has spoken

SimLive League

1- RnR

2- Doctor D

3- Brady marino

4- Greco

5- SCBF

6- moops

7- Koya

8- Chem X

9- Pampernickle

10- Kubes

11- Shake

12- Sparty

Then I show up in live and no one is there. Then I post in the thread and no one is there. What am I missing?Think I got about 20 games in last season.

Finally can post some line-up permutations. What my squad lacks in freakish stats, it makes up for in flexibility. That's probably a bad trade-off, but ... eh. I got what I got.

Any of you nerds want to advise me on my last pick? Have it down to two guys, but have never played with either, so dont know how they fare.

How much attention should be paid to performance history? One guy has better real life stats, but worse performace stats.

WC Round - Walter James Vincent "Rabbit" Maranville - 2B/SS/Manager/Mascot/Team Drunk

No real surprise here. Going with his 1922 season. If he hits a home run off anyone else in this sim, I will mock and laugh at your team every day for a week.

Since this draft is "All Time" I paid more attention to history this go round

Performance history is based on open league performance. I don't know how useful they'll be for a high cap theme league

I just saw that the moops has 'A' left as well. Would be funny if he actually takes the one spare I have ready to take.
