In WIS XIV, I did have the distinction of owning/managing both the AL and the NL teams in the same FBG WIS World Series

My original reasoning for requiring three eligible seasons was that it mitigated downside risk for players with only one or two eligible seasons, giving them an advantage over players with more than three eligible but less than three usable seasons. 

But now I'm equating people who didn't read the draft rules with those fools circling the state capitol in their Ram pickups.

Correct.  Only seasons between 1977-1992 may be used, and only those may count toward the three years of eligibility

6 or half dozen. Only strategy there is if you want your top season to match or not match other top sessions, and even that assumes that most teams but the “best” option as 1 and/or default to three highest salary years.

It's always been 77-92 (Carter/Reagan/Bush).  It's the period between the Toronto/Seattle and Colorado/Florida expansions.

I deleted the text of the original OP text this morning and mistakenly put 93 in the replacement post for about six hours.  It's been fixed.
