Now wondering if I shoulda gone SS. Oh well. Someone has to hit 8th
It won't matter if a 1 is rolled this round. Now wondering if I shoulda gone SS. Oh well. Someone has to hit 8th![]()
Even Foster's back-up seasons are north of .900 normalized OPS. I'll either get a very nice middle-of-the-order slugger or else an MVP-caliber guy.It won't matter if a 1 is rolled this round. Now wondering if I shoulda gone SS. Oh well. Someone has to hit 8th![]()
This is a REALLY good pick at this point. Remember him from his O's days.2.07 Dennis Martinez, SP 92/90/91 going low risk, three very like seasons here
I'll take Fenway![]()

The call on his perfect game with the Expos "El Presidente, El Perfecto!" is one of the most famous calls in Canadian sports broadcasting history. This is a REALLY good pick at this point. Remember him from his O's days.2.07 Dennis Martinez, SP 92/90/91 going low risk, three very like seasons here

Two different guys, yo. Some Orioles fan you are. This is a REALLY good pick at this point. Remember him from his O's days.
Was known as "Tippy Martinez" (don't know why)
One of the blackest people I've ever met. He is so dark, he's transparent.
His brother Carmelo Martinez is the father of Carmelo Anthony. Two different guys, yo. Some Orioles fan you are.

no other way to do it.10 picks away...do I start making a list and have hopes crushed along the way?!
Have been going through my baseball cards lately thanks to @shuke and I was amazed at how much Eric Davis stock I owned. Nothing of value now, but the 85 and 86 Topps were my favorite. I didn't get heavy into cards until 1987, so those were "deep finds" for me at the card shop.Well I missed out on Kirby and Raines, but I get the third member of my childhood dream outfield:
OF Eric Davis, 87/89/86
Declan Tank was going with Eric Davis here, but he has a backup plan:
2.10[34]- D-Tank/Tre 2-Jim Rice-OF-78-79-77
Park: Atlanta Fulton County Stadium
And he's a very good one at this point.2.11 Jerry Reuss, SP 1982-80-81
Tiger Stadium
Sniped on Rice, who I loved on RBI Baseball. Probably should take a pitcher anyway though.
FUH.... wanted this for sentimental reasons. Saw two games there. One a few years prior to them moving, the other was in their final year there. Got to see Vlad, trying to remember if I saw Raines the first time I went to a game there (when he had his brief return).I'll take Stade Olympique
Jerry Reuss was 38 years old in 1987. Young Bogart thought he was closer to 58.2.11 Jerry Reuss, SP 1982-80-81
