WIS XVII - The Cartereaganbush League: Scoobus beats Sammy in the Wis Series (2 Viewers)

I'll take 83, 82, 90 for Parrish unless someone wants to tell me I'm an idiot for subbing in 1990's catcher defense at the expense of 1980's offense.
I don’t know the specifics, but unless it’s outrageously better, getting a catcher is more important than a bit more offense.

Got you your CF eh?

Is a list a list if it’s only got one name left? (Ok it’s not quite THAT bad, but if you want any offensive production, might have a better chance looking for a starting pitcher with a bat soon)
I debated Thomas and Moseby, from there it seems like a bit of a drop off.

Thomas is fun because he’s so far from the typical CF offensive profile. Fits my park and basic philosophy a little better.

5 .  19    [  15  ]     Terry Pendleton    -    3B    -    91    -    92    -    89

@jfranco77

2. OFers. But like, then they play LF, CF, and RF. Not 100% sure what you're asking here, but hopefully that answers it.
WIS uses fielding % and range factor to grade defense.  So a A/C fielder will make fewer errors but get to less balls than someone rated C/A.

You generally put your best defensive OF in center whether they played there in real life or not.

Yes, it doesn't matter if they played LF or RF or CF in real life. You can put them wherever you want and the WIS fielding rating will be the same

With the turn coming, I was checking out Willie McGee's seasons for @Bogart  in case there were three obvious ones.  The bad news is he had seven seasons within $1M in WIS salaries.  The good news is I went off on a tangent to find out when McGee earned SS eligibility in 1987.  It was in a blowout loss to the Phillies and is a pretty good story.

just ran to the store to grab some beer and wine and cider. as I'm walking in this justflubro in front of me spits a huge loogie on the ground doesn't even pretend to care. and then talking to the cashier about how he just had to watch party with 12 people at his house last night for some stupid movie. cashier says, did you do a zoom thing? his response was #### no man this whole thing is bull####, I haven't stopped doing anything.

To add to what others have said, generally I think you want an A range in CF or at least a B/B+, whereas the corner OFs don't really matter as much.

You pick the 3 seasons, can be any seasons you want but for rolling purposes the three you choose will be ordered highest to lowest by salary.
so, ive been listing them out of order and eephus has been using that order.

i.e. - brett butler should be 85,90,91, but i listed him 90,85,91

Taking Bruce Hurst, 89,90,91

Was X the only one affected? I’m fine giving him the better season if that would have been the roll... he gonna need all the help he can get

It happens(tm)

no big deal.  Kraft just trying to help. And IIRC, he did a hell of a good job with that roll.

Well, the rolling part at least.

I've been planting succulents all afternoon.  I'm going to smoke some weed, take a shower and verify seasons.

I think the fairest thing to do is to use the highest salary Brett Butler season.

This is true, I did not verify years. I thought I was only responsible for the rolling
