WIS XVII - The Cartereaganbush League: Scoobus beats Sammy in the Wis Series (1 Viewer)

I'll probably move Burks in and out based on park and matchups.  OBPs aren't great but not terrible. Power is a bit light. Defense is meh.
Our offenses are almost identical. I couldn't hit on elite slugging to save my life in this thing.

I do like my pitching a lot better, though.

Honor system
I'm less worried about cheating than I am incompetence.

Self included, fyi.

Maybe we do this... everyone work with the person who drafted just before/after them (i.e. picks 1/2 3/4 5/6) and check each other's lineups for a proof.

Catching people cheating and disqualifying them from the playoffs might be the best chance I have, I say we just don’t verify anyone til the season starts.

I don't think WIS commissioner duties can be delegated.  I'll spot check rosters unless I can remember how I did it in Excel years ago.

Im still less concerned about cheating and an honest mistake.  We ain't the brightest nor most diligent crew.

Bill Buckner, 1B 81-80-78

This is mostly a sentimental pick. I'm a Boston guy and the dude got a bum rap around here. He was a dirt dog and one of my favorite players, pre and post 86. I was actually at Fenway when he hit this inside the park HR Look a Billy hobbling around those bases  :towelwave:

Will be a lefty bench guy that can handle the bat and play less awful 1B than Al Oliver.
Mike Hargrove may play some "defensive replacement" at C/D for 1B.

Could have at least taken one of his Boston years
