Do you prefer your league with inseason trading (can improve your team, make big deals) or no trading at all (helps involve collusion) and just using the ww?

Without, that is why I play High Stakes. Winning leagues because you were able to rip off the weakest people in your league is novice stuff.

Wait...why wouldn't you want trades? I don't even understand the premise of the question, let alone the current poll results.

I prefer having trades available. I've been playing in the same league with the same guys for 15 years. 10 of us have been in the league from the get go and all of us have known each other for 20+ years. Trades might be onesided in some leagues where the weak are preyed upon. But that is not the case in every league. We dont see alot of trade activity in our league but having it available adds an interesting dynamic to the league even for the 3 or 4 trades that occur in a season.

I've been in a no-trade league....boring!
And while I use the WW for 90% of my in-season roster moves, sometimes only a trade can allow you to correct a positional imbalance. Otherwise you're forced to give up a piece in order to shore up another area but you get nothing in return.

well in almost all high stake leagues there is no trading.
why would you not want trading? like i said collusion, pain in the ### owners, bush league trades offers etc.
why would you want trading? can make a problem area better, makes the others more active etc.

Yes on trading. It's been very valuable to me to win championships. But it's gotten to the point that no one wants to trade with me anymore. I've gotten very lucky and whoever I trade with has their player almost immediately get hurt or tank the rest of the way. They were fair trades at the time that by circumstance ended up completely one-sided. I don't have a deal with the debil, but now can't make a trade unless I give away the farm. What can I say? Sorry?
