Wooing my neighbor: I came. I hugged. I wooed. Now moving on. (2 Viewers)

I don't know if the Colonel answered this or not, but are you now off the market temporarily?
I guess it's not "official" yet, but I'm not looking elsewhere (and she knows that), and she's made it pretty clear she's not either. No need to label it as a relationship just yet, but I think things are progressing in that direction.

Mentioned that yesterday... it's in the works. Have to manage schedules, finding a sitter, etc. Soon, though. She green-lighted the idea. Just have to set the time and day.
I don't remember if it's been posted and don't think I could find the posts to go back and check but how old are all the kids involved?  Do they have any idea anything's going on?  How are they reacting?

Mine are 11 and 14, they are aware, and I have "cleared it" with them, as that's important to me that whoever I may be in a relationship with, they are comfortable with also.

Hers are 5 and 8 and I think suspect there may be something going on, but have been cool thus far. I think that's her main reason for the slow-play on her side, and I actually respect that a lot (that she puts her kids' interests ahead of her own).

Had a couple of rather serious-topic conversations this week. They went well. We may be attending the varsity game tonight (with all kids). And she brought me some freshly baked banana bread one night this week. Moving the needle to 99%. :coffee:

You folks love to have serious conversations.  Can Marissa cook as well as she hugs?

Banana bread. Banana's are shaped like a dong. There is yeast in bread.

Connect the dots Colonel.

Honest question:  What is encompassed in the last 1%?  Like what's missing that makes you say you haven't 100% wooed her?

I'm coming from the camp that woo does not equal sects, which is the basis of my questions.

Fair question. I guess in my mind, it's if we agree we are in an exclusive relationship, officially.

Sounds like you need to have another SERIOUS DISCUSSION.

Way to be subtle , guys

There is a fine art to innuendo.

For example.....

Has she given you a kegel hug, if you know what I mean

You can definitely tell the age difference in some of the posters in this thread. Some are shocked they haven't had coitus within the first month of the relationship, while others (myself included) think that the pace is moving along nicely considering all the baggage many of us GenXers carry at this stage in our life.

Keep working it Colonel.

I'm a married gen xer and think this is going at a glacial pace. Spooning needs to turn to sporking ASAP or some dude in an affliction t shirt is going to scoop the poon.
