It's a solid word. I usually lean into letters 's' and 'n' on the second guess depending on the flop; if I avoid 'e' on the second guess and no vowels hit, then I look to play a word with two 'e's on the third guess. Not perfect (nothing is), but it's comfortable. Also, if the 'y' flips yellow, it's highly likely to slot at #5; and if it does, it gives me a jump on the dreaded double-consonant at slots 3 and 4.

I usually use proud or pound as my second guess, looking back when I only get the “s” I need to go with sound. Face palm.
