When the Wordle bot says a _____ is a good guess but ____ would have been more efficient, is it saying that the more efficient word is more likely to be efficient on average or would have been more efficient in that particular situation?

I'm almost certain its analysis is based on the expected result of a word selection rather than the actual result of a guess on that particular day. The bot seems focused on how many potential or likely words are expected to be eliminated by a guess, rather than how many words were actually eliminated.

Whoa. Had no idea what you all were talking about, but just found the bot analysis. Pretty cool!
Yeah I like it when it scolds me for doing well but it was mostly luck or that some other word would have been more efficientWhen the Wordle bot says a _____ is a good guess but ____ would have been more efficient, is it saying that the more efficient word is more likely to be efficient on average or would have been more efficient in that particular situation?

I've learned a little bit from the bot but for me its mostly just entertainment value. For what its worth, the bot uses CRANE as a starting word every day on regular mode and PLATE on hard mode. Its odd because other common starting words eliminate more possibilities, but I think the bot likes these starters based on what it can do with the second guess.
