Wordle (5 Viewers)

I still support choosing gazer over gayer in my octordle, even though it bombed me out. I’m 50% (1 for 2) on my last gasp octordle guesses, when it is a 50/50 choice between two words. I agree with others that octordle is playing mind games with us at this point. I don’t believe it’s random.

No idea how you finished Octordle. I had two words left. Wasted 7 guesses on 2 words that probably had another 5 possible answers. Unfortunately my start words made those seem the easiest so dumb me decided to get rid of those first. Most of them are not common words you ever say and since I’m straight, I didn’t realize one was actually a real word versus slang.

I failed hard on octordle today too. 3 words left.

 
Damn, should have had in 3. Just wanted to rearrange the 3 letters I knew and used a letter I knew was out. I didn’t take the 2 more seconds to guess another word.

I'm not sure about which is more fun but I do think that I use my brain more in hard mode.

I'm still debating which is "easier".  I think I fell in to the trap of eliminating letters by default -  I actually think my average guess number has gone down since turning on hard mode.  I'm assuming this is due to positioning of correct letters out of position.  I've had four 6-guess words and I think 3 of the 4 were in easy mode.
