Interesting. My first word was your last. Probably because I didn’t see clock.

Multiples of the same letter always throw me off. Equal parts where I see it and guess wrong, or go the other way and get blindsided and guess too quickly because “that letter was already used“.

I opened with PINCH, I thought a burner word would be best next. Went with FLUNK. That solved both the CLOCK/FLOCK and the SPINE/SNIPE guesses. Thought I was brilliant for a minute, the went ANIME over NAIVE, and I was sunk. Ugh

Luckily, I saw all the 50/50 shots coming on this one, and opted to use a burner word on guess #10. Went with THIEF. It did what I wanted. Exposed the T and and F and placed the H. Both 50/50 words accounted for.
