I’m staying the course.
This is for the regular season?7-128-1 floor.
Not sure about that. I would love to sell him right now but not sure what I could get. I'm waiting for him to actually have a good game & go from there.. if that happens!!!Trading for AJB this offseason has not worked well for me. Hopefully he continues to be pissed and the squeaky wheel gets the grease. It has worked for him in the past.... It is only a matter of time. But he's not putting up any points right now.
Maybe a buy window for those willing to take on risk... He's an elite WR who isn't getting targets.
I'm holding AJB right now - I do believe it will turn around. Eventually they will have to pass a bit more - I believe. Not sure about that. The other part of this, is that the Eagles offense has sucked through 2 games. Like they are 2-0 but are 1-2 plays away from being 0-2. The biggest reason for that, is the offense isn't moving the ball much.Hurts averages so far through 2 games:
17 completions on 22.5 attempts for 125 yards.
They beat KC without their 2 best pass catchers. They beat Dallas who seems like a solid offensive team, but their defense almost gave NYG an early season win.
Maybe Philadelphia can keep beating teams throwing the ball less than 25 times a game. More likely, they have to pass more as the season goes on. I would expect some significant regression to the mean. Better days are ahead for Brown and Smith.
It is entirely possible that Brown is still dealing with lingering effects of a hamstring injury. But given the volume issues, I'm not confident enough in that being the issue to make a move/decision on it.
JJ Zachariason has been pounding this drum all offseason. Last year they had an historically low pass ratio and he was (as is as of post week 1) confident regression is coming. If the first 2 weeks are any indication the statistically norms are not going to hold.. I would expect some significant regression to the mean. Better days are ahead for Brown and Smith
Orlovksy showed about 6 different plays today which all featured Brown running the same shallow crossing route and getting ignored. We need someone with the time and resources to watch an All 22 and see if they can determine if he is in full decoy mode as he continues to nurse a lingering injury.
If someone offered Odunze for AJB right now I think I'd have to take it.I would like AJ Brown on my roster.
Is offering Odunze a good deal for me?
That would be a move from a preseason WR ADP of 35 to 10. I could offer Sutton, but he had a bad week 2, so I expect that would be rejected.
Honestly I would hold Odunze as he is actually getting targets - and his QB likes to throw him the ball. CHI will likely be trailing more often than not which should lead to more passes.I would like AJ Brown on my roster.

If I were Nick Sirianni, I'd be seriously thinking about taking playcalling/design away from the OC. This isn't sustainable, and its a waste of 2 of the 6 highest paid players on your roster in Brown and Smith. I'm not saying they should throw 40 times a game, but 22 is just not enough, given the talent they have.
If I were an Eagles fan right now, I'd be about as unhappy a 2-0 as you can be.
Just got offered Egbuka for him…I can’t see doing this after 2 weeks.
This is now irrelevant even if many fantasy managers will evaluate based on it. ADP is meaningless once the season starts and if you can mentally separate that from your evaluations you will do much better. That would be a move from a preseason WR ADP of 35 to 10.
I’m assuming this is redraft, I’m probably still pulling the trigger there.Just got offered Egbuka for him…I can’t see doing this after 2 weeks.
In dynasty--you take that deal. I think in redraft--you have to be objective in regard to value. AJ Brown was a second round draft pick in redraft leagues before a game was played. If there was a fantasy draft right now, I'd say he'd most likely go late third/early 4th. Egbuka would probably go around that same area in redraft today. The question is if you feel like AJ Brown has hit a "low" and his value is likely to bounce from here--or if you feel like the value of Egbuka has maybe reached or neared a peak with Godwin possibly coming back in a few weeks. I own one share of Brown in redraft--and I'm uncomfortably staying the course with him. WIth that said--and its kinda sad--I feel more comfortable seeing Keenan Allen in my starting lineup than I do seeing Brown in it.Just got offered Egbuka for him…I can’t see doing this after 2 weeks.
According to Scott Barrett that’s not true this week. He had the best separation of any WR…..Brown is getting zero separation
