He's almost singlehandedly killed my season.
Healthy and normal. That’s why yesterday was so frustrating. How'd he look? I'm thinking of dangling an offer on a buy low for him. Think it's time to pounce.
Id be buying low - he started slow last year then came on like crazy.....
I am of the same belief of the bolded. I am looking to move him for RB help (I went zero RB strategy and have great WR depth that I can't play and desperately need a RB).He had 3 games all last year like the Seattle or Jags game have already been. He missed 2 with injury. Otherwise he was a certified Alpha. I hope you're right, but I'm afraid he's not the same guy in the same offense.
He’s the same guy, but it isn’t the same offense. Arthur Smith is in Atlanta. He had 3 games all last year like the Seattle or Jags game have already been. He missed 2 with injury. Otherwise he was a certified Alpha. I hope you're right, but I'm afraid he's not the same guy in the same offense.
Tannenhill was excellent last year as well. He doesn’t look like the same guy at all. Line has a lot to do with it.He’s the same guy, but it isn’t the same offense. Arthur Smith is in Atlanta.
I feel like Tannehill has looked very sharp so far. Its just for much of the season, instead of throwing to AJ Brown, Corey Davis, and Jonnu Smith, he's been throwing to Chester Rogers, Nick Westbrook, and Anthony Firkser. A healthy Brown and a hopefully healthy Julio likely will change the results.I'm trying to move him if I can in redraft. Tannehill isn't nearly as sharp as last year. Feels like they'll just run Henry 35 times every game. Last week I started him and left Toney on my bench. Not sure I want to do it again, although nearly everyone I talk to says play AJB always.
Maybe its just me but I think he will be a league winner later in the season, teams adjust and will find ways to limit Henry on occasion. I think AJ and Julio once both back to full speed will be fresher and will start to move the sticks regularly when Tenn needs to start slinging it.
We went through this last year with AJ and I bought low on him after week 4 when the owner became frustrated with him. From week 5 on for 12 weeks AJ went 65/1036/11 and won alot of teams championships!
Patience fellas, it will pay off in the end....
I could see that. I seem to remember Tannehill and the offense got very little work together in preseason for whatever reason, so now maybe some of the kinks can be worked out with Brown and possibly Julio back. Despite my comments earlier not trusting Brown, maybe there is reason for optimism. I'm still iffy on him, but he's in my lineup again Monday Night.Maybe its just me but I think he will be a league winner later in the season, teams adjust and will find ways to limit Henry on occasion. If one drafted well one should be able to survive long enough to wait for the momentum to kick in ,things will start clicking and those who waited it out will be rewarded.while I agree that it's a likely scenario it's certainly frustrating to live through on a week to week basis. If I didn't have him I'd likely look to buy but if you have him (which I do) you're best bet is to hold.
What is drafting real well these days? People drafted well and their team is decimated by slow starters outside of AJ Brown and/or injuries (Saquon, Ridley, Robert Woods are on one of my teams. Brutal start but you can't say they were horrible draft picks given where they are in ADP). I literally could've picked Ekeler, Jefferson, and DJ Moore instead of the three I just listed above and would be crushing it right now. But, I didn't, and no one can blame me for that. That's just how it goes sometimes. If one drafted well one should be able to survive long enough to wait for the momentum to kick in ,things will start clicking and those who waited it out will be rewarded.

Fantasy's just a bunch of BS luck, more than ever.
I'd say if someone was -good- at in-season roster management and made other WR waiver pickups to stop the bleeding, then yeah, I agree with that assessment.
A.J. Brown (hamstring) said the Titans won't give him a full complement of snaps until Week 10.
Brown said the team would be careful with his lingering hamstring injury, though his Week 5 usage would say otherwise. Brown ran a route on 92 percent of Ryan Tannehill's 26 drop backs against the Jaguars, catching three of six targets for 36 yards. Brown (and Julio Jones) will be game script sensitive in an offense that wants to establish the run as early and often as possible. Tennessee has a 55 percent rush rate while leading this season, the league's sixth highest rate. A Week 6 matchup against the Bills should force the Titans to open up the passing game though.

The @Titans have added to their injury list today: WR A.J. Brown (illness) Questionable.
A.J. Brown has been downgraded to questionable for Week 6 against the Bills with an illness.
The Titans are playing on Monday Night Football. Sudden status changes with an illness in 2021 lead to COVID-19 concerns, but Brown would probably already be on the reserve/COVID-19 list were that a worry. It's still a red flag that the Titans were concerned enough to officially downgrade their No. 1 wideout. Were Brown to sit, a returning Julio Jones would dominate work in the Titans' receiver corps, provided his balky hamstring doesn't buckle. Josh Reynolds, Chester Rogers and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine are the next men up after that.

A little concerning if one has to make a move before the start of the later games today.
I put in Chase Edmonds. Only reasonable option.A little concerning if one has to make a move before the start of the later games today.
I have JW and am also considering the same thought process......Of course im sure we start JW and then Brown is fine and goes 7/112/2.......uggh....My best option was to pick up James Washington . Luckily I am ahead by quite a bit.
Going to see if there is any more news before the game tonight.
I'm leaning towards Reynolds or Johnson, but really have no idea about who would get what kind of snap countsrenesauz said:just snagged Irkine as insurance, but not excited about it
was ik a very deep roster league....limited options :(I'm leaning towards Reynolds or Johnson, but really have no idea about who would get what kind of snap counts
All those guys are available, I just don't have any idea how Tennessee uses their receivers. Seems like it could be any of Westbrook-Ikhine, Rogers, Reynolds, Marcus Johnson, Batson... I'd like to grab the guy likely to be on the field the mostwas ik a very deep roster league....limited options :(
I think I am going to roll with Washington. I don't need a huge game, but can't really afford a zeroJoeSteeler said:My best option was to pick up James Washington . Luckily I am ahead by quite a bit.

Same here! 8 pts between Boswell and Washington s/b extremely possibleI think I am going to roll with Washington. I don't need a huge game, but can't really afford a zero
I went with Washington too......1.7 points.....uggh.Same here! 8 pts between Boswell and Washington s/b extremely possible
It would be absolutely shocking if Brown has been sick and is likely at less than 100% and puts up those type of numbers against Buffalo’s pass defense. They simply don’t give up those types of games to receivers the vast majority of the time.I went with Washington too......1.7 points.....uggh.
Now watch AJ be fine and toss up that 7/112/2 I was talking about yesterday.....I hate this hobby sometimes!
