A.J. Brown caught 10-of-13 targets for 155 yards in the Eagles' Week 1 win over the Lions.
Brown was touted as Jalen Hurts' favorite target throughout training camp and their connection was on full display in the opener. His 13 targets were good for a 41 percent target share. Hurts locked onto him throughout the game and leaned on him when under pressure. Brown nearly added a touchdown to his line, but he only managed to drag Lions cornerback a few yards before backup arrived to bring him down. The Eagles were a run-heavy team versus Detroit, but Brown's target dominance should negate any concerns about the team's pass rate. He enters his Week 2 matchup with the Vikings as a WR1.

A.J. Brown caught 5-of-8 targets for 69 yards in the Eagles' Week 2 win over the Vikings.
Brown's eight targets led the team, but his 69 yards tied for third behind Dallas Goedert's 82 and DeVonta Smith's 80. Jalen Hurts tried to hit Brown on a deep shot, but it fell incomplete in tight coverage. Brown has seen 21 targets through two weeks and will be a WR1 next week against the Commanders.

A.J. Brown has been Jalen Hurts’ first read target on 42.5% of his attempts, the second-highest rate in the league per @FantasyPtsData.
Only Cooper Kupp (46%) has been a first-read target more often.
A.J. Brown caught 5-of-10 targets for 85 yards and a touchdown in the Eagles' Week 3 win against the Commanders.
Brown caught a short touchdown from Jalen Hurts before the game got out of hand and the Eagles took their foot off the gas. He also came down with a 38-yard grab over a helpless defender. Brown was close on two downfield shots in the first half too. For the second straight game, DeVonta Smith saw more receptions and yards than Brown, though the latter remains the Eagles' clearcut alpha WR1. Brown has as much upside as any receiver next week against the Jaguars.

A.J. Brown caught 5-of-8 targets for 67 yards and a touchdown in the Eagles' Week 6 win over the Cowboys.
Brown extended the Eagles' lead to 14 points early in the second quarter on a 15-yard strike from quarterback Jalen Hurts. He was routinely Hurts' first read throughout the first half before cooling off down the stretch as the Eagles sat on a comfortable lead. The modest target totals have become a trend this season for the alpha wide receiver, who continues to churn solid yardage on limited volume. Brown and the Eagles will have two weeks to prepare for a Steelers defense allowing the most PPR points per game to opposing wide receivers through six weeks.

A.J. Brown caught 6-of-11 targets for 156 yards and three touchdowns in the Eagles' Week 8 win against the Steelers.
Brown humiliated Steelers corners and safeties from start to finish in this one. He overpowered cover guys on two of his first half scores, taking advantage of perfectly-delivered passes from Jalen Hurts. Brown, along with the rest of the Eagles' starters, was benched at the start of the fourth quarter with Philadelphia up by four scores. Brown had a 43-yard catch and run in the third quarter that looked to be his fourth touchdown of the day before a Pittsburgh defender tripped him at the ten yard line. He was slow to get up but eventually made his way to his feet and returned to the sideline. Brown, who has been somewhat hampered by the Eagles' run-heavy tendencies in recent weeks, will be a locked-in WR1 in Week 9 against a porous Houston defense.

Feels like top end wr1 upside is gone and it’s back to the titans days. Nothing wrong with that!
He had a few boom games like this as a titan But generally he’s been a 5-70 guy with the eagles. Today was just a masterclass. He’s a baller and the titans miss himFeels like top end wr1 upside is gone and it’s back to the titans days. Nothing wrong with that!![]()
He has one more receiving yard than all Titans WRs combined this year.He had a few boom games like this as a titan But generally he’s been a 5-70 guy with the eagles. Today was just a masterclass. He finally has a good QB to throw him the ball and he is flourishing. Jalen Hurts is unlocking his true potential and its amazing to witness.
At any rate, still can’t understand why the Titans felt the need to trade him. Glad they did, but always seemed odd to me.He finally has a good QB to throw him the ball and he is flourishing. Jalen Hurts is unlocking his true potential and its amazing to witness.
It's also notable that we're calling Hurtz a good quarterback now. A lot of people, myself included, were skeptical of Hurtz coming into the season, so this future was far from likely.
Kinda crazy I know, when he has a 7-0 record in his 2nd full season starting and setting his best friend Wide Receiver up for a career year by destroying every personal best, people start realizing he actually is a good QB. I was only skeptical on how much he would improve, being honest. Its truly amazing what can happen for a young WR when he plays with a true franchise QB. Even more so if they are best friends already. He finally has a good QB to throw him the ball and he is flourishing. Jalen Hurts is unlocking his true potential and its amazing to witness.

A.J. Brown caught 4-of-6 targets for 59 yards and a touchdown in the Eagles' Week 9 win over the Texans.
Brown's fourth touchdown in five days was his sixth of the season. The Texans' defense simply lost Brown on his 17-yard score in the third quarter. Not recommended. Brown hasn't spiked as many weeks as fantasy managers might like, but he has maintained a high floor and cleared 150 yards twice in eight games. More booms are coming, perhaps as early as Week 10 against the Commanders' soft secondary.

ya, he was so annoyed that the defender tripped him up...he was gone. One of his receptions on a drive that started on Philly 25, think it was after Houston scored to make it 14-14, AJB was 1 step at about the 50 from taking it to the house
Could easily say 4-110-TD, he rips off chunks in this offense.
A.J. Brown caught 1-of-4 targets for seven yards in the Eagles' Week 10 loss to the Commanders.
Brown's night started off with an injury scare. He briefly left the game after coming up limping following a short catch in the first quarter. He was on the field for Philly's next drive and didn't seem bothered by the ankle issue but did not catch a pass in the remaining three-quarters of action. After the game, Brown said, "I'll be good." Brown also had a chance to rack up some yards on a long throw from Jalen Hurts. The ball was placed perfectly past a pair of defenders, but it bounced off Brown's hands and into the arms of Washington safety Darrick Forrest. It was a cruel night for anyone needing more than two points from Brown in fantasy leagues, but he should have no problem rebounding as a WR1 versus the Colts next week.

Yeah, he definitely didn't seem right after that tweak. Foot / ankle was maybe heavily taped as well?Another injury this weekend
He's hurt, he was a decoy the rest o the evening
A.J. Brown caught 5-of-7 targets for 60 yards in the Eagles' Week 11 win over the Colts.
Brown had fewer targets and yards than DeVonta Smith, who led the team in receiving. He lost a fumble in the fourth quarter that could have cost the Eagles the game if not for a late rally from Jalen Hurts. Brown may not have been fully healthy after an ankle injury limited him in practice this week. He should be closer to 100 percent for a matchup with the Packers in Week 12.

Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni said A.J. Brown (illness) will practice Friday.
Brown missed Thursday's practice with an illness but should be able to log at least a limited Friday session. He should be full go in Week 12 against the Packers. In the Eagles' first game without Dallas Goedert (shoulder), Brown saw 30 percent of the team's targets, second to DeVonta Smith (39 percent).

A.J. Brown caught 8-of-10 targets for 119 yards and two touchdowns in the Eagles' Week 13 win over the Titans.
Brown had a 40-yard catch that was ruled a TD on the field, but after review, it was determined that Brown's right toe touched out of bounds. On the very next play got as wide open as any wide receiver all season (literally, per NFL Next Gen) for a 40-yard TD. This one counted. He barrelled over his defender, who bit hard on a double move and committed illegal contact before falling over. Brown followed up that TD with a second score where his defender had him bodied up in the end zone, but he still made the play for a 29-yard TD. Brown's day could have been even bigger, but many Eagles' starters saw their final snap with over 11 minutes left to go in the fourth quarter. Brown is set up for a quieter game in Week 14, with the Eagles likely to attack the Giants' run defense. However, his sky-high ceiling makes him a must start.

They didn’t want to pay him. That’s what it came down to.Must’ve felt great to eviscerate the team that should not have given up on him.
Burks is nice and all but the titans are a win now team
A.J. Brown caught 9-of-16 targets for 181 yards in the Eagles' Week 15 win over the Bears.
Brown was having a modest day until he connected with Jalen Hurts on a 68-yard bomb. Brown fought off a Chicago defender to make the catch and then ran down the sidelined, only to be tackled just short of the goal line. Even without the touchdown, his stat line should make fantasy players happy. Brown has been a boom/bust fantasy option this year, but his explosive games can single-handedly decide matchups. He will sit comfortably inside the WR1 ranks for his Week 16 matchup with the Cowboys.

A.J. Brown caught 6-of-8 targets for 96 yards and a touchdown in the Eagles' Super Bowl LVII loss to the Chiefs.
Brown's 45-yard touchdown in the opening moments of the second quarter was one of the very best plays of a classic, back-and-forth game. Dominating his defender 1-on-1, Brown made a textbook over-the-shoulder grab. Arriving from Tennessee, Brown had his healthiest and most productive campaign in 2022. It was the first time he did not miss a contest since his rookie year, while his eye-popping 1,496 yards were a new career high by 421. Only Justin Jefferson, Tyreek Hill and Davante Adams posted more yardage. This, in a run-first offense that also had DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert to feed targets. A true alpha No. 1 who has cleared 10 touchdowns two of the past three seasons, Brown will still somehow only be 26 years old in 2023. Smack dab in the middle of his prime in one of the best-designed offenses in football, Brown will remain a top-five fantasy wideout who could ascend as high as No. 3 overall behind Jefferson and Ja’Marr Chase.

A.J. Brown doesn't want to be compared to CeeDee Lamb: 'He plays slot and I play outside and inside'
Hm, interesting thought, but the Cowboys jab seems more likely. Seems like most police cars would be much more easily identified by other attributes than a mark on the license plate.^^ About the "star on the license plate" comment, it might not necessarily mean a Cowboy fan as the article alludes to. In Wisconsin, police cars have a star on the license plate, I don't know if that is the case in Pennsylvania.
Some beats are questioning "how much better" he can be. Hard to top what he did last year, but a point they make is "the chemistry is only going to get better" With Hurts. He's been going to him often, more than any other guy so far in camp. Looks like he is in for another really big year, just unsure "how big" but I'd say an easy top 10 finish, good shot at top 5.Updates on this guy? I heard he has been tearing it up in camp so far. No suprise there.
A.J. Brown caught 7-of-10 targets for 79 yards in the Eagles’ Week 1 win over the Patriots.
Brown got off to a slow start as he wasn’t involved much early on. Jalen Hurts tried him mid-game on a deep ball throw into the end zone, but they couldn’t convert. Brown made key catches late in the game that saved his fantasy day. It was a decent outing for the Eagles’ WR1, but he’ll have a chance to do even better against the Vikings in Week 2.
