eff that. You actually can't post some whiny-I-don't-get-the-ball-enough bs when you were heavily used and scored two TD's in a huge game. Like, what is the point of that statement, other than to stir up **** when its really not needed and its really getting old. Another week of local media pouncing on this and parsing it out, another week of national media questioning Jalen because his WR is unhappy, another week of players and coaches getting peppered with questions about a situation that no one on the team wants to talk about.
BG just re-signed, which is frickin' awesome and AJ has to switch the focus to his personal frustrations. Its beyond diva stuff and sprinting into self-important narcissism. Like , dude, you just caught three of the most important five passes on Sunday-two of which went for TD's. You are a vital member of this team. STFU and do your job. JFC its ridiculous.

He balled out last week. If he doesn't pull up on the deep route in Denver he balls out that week. The offense is in flux right now, but the constant tweet bombs are wearing thin. Again, what exactly does he think the benefit is of that post? He just caught two huge TDs in a must win game. What is he hoping is going to come from tweeting "using me but not using me"? Its obviously a complaint. Its obviously targeted at Jalen or Patullo or Sirriani or the team generally or all four. This is a 5-2 team coming off a super bowl win.
His behind the scenes drama with Jalen was reportedly at least partly responsible for the locker room crash that cratered the team in 2023 and it almost cratered the locker room last year if not for BG putting it out in public that AJ and Jalen had a big problem and that "Jalen was trying but the other guy has to try too."
Fast forward to this year and lo and behold, AJ is complaint-tweeting after going off for 120 yards and 2 TD's.
I'm not saying I agree with what he did, only that what he said isn't wrong. He has been open plenty of times and Hurts doesn't even look his way.

He's elite. Only Elite WRs make the All Pro team 3 years in a row.
He might not make the HOF, but he's been on teams that have been run centric his entire career.
Now, he might now win a lot of games, but say you put him on a team, hypothetically, he is guaranteed 150+ targets.
How many WRs are you taking ahead of him?

I think (and correct me if I'm wrong @ChicoCat) Chico was saying that Brown's "diva level" is noteworthy but not off the charts, and just being comical by rating the diva level with terms that one would normally use for describing players' skills and success ("elite", "Hall of Fame").
I was in the middle of ordering a 20 foot inflatable skeleton for Halloween....so I didn't proof read. It could have been better.

I hate TNF, sitting AJB for Keenan tonight who is my only other option. Would have liked to have been able to have more info (Fri practice) and wait until Sunday to make a decision.

I heard (a couple days ago, granted) that despite not practicing he was expected to play. I don't know if that has changed given that he still hasn't practiced. But there was apparently an expectation at that time that he would be good to go.

Sarianni said today that AJB is the type of player that doesn’t require practice during the week to play on game day.
This doesn’t mean he will play but the door is still open.
I heard what he said, just not buying it with a bye week coming.
My concern in that scenario is we get something similar to week 1

When did the hammy pop up? Monday during his day off? One could see how this (latest) weird tweet could be twisted into a reaction to trade conversations. Hmm...
Let's fuel this fire... if Philly wins convincingly this Sunday w/o Brown... I think he's gone. This will be an R&D game to see if he is really needed.
He's teetering on the "hot vs crazy" line right now.

I was watching the game, and when he caught that deep bomb to ice the game it looked like he was accelerating towards the end zone but then pulled up. He could have possibly injured it then

He’s not injured, he’s getting traded. Hopefully to Buffalo. He’s not happy with usage and becoming a distraction to the team. They’re ready to move on. By keeping him out of the game they avoid risking him getting injured before a trade takes place. All my opinion, of course.
I think the trade talk is unrealistic, for a multitude of reasons, namely these 3:
1. Philly isn't winning a Super Bowl without him. Seriously, Jahan Dotson and John Metchie as the #2 and #3 WRs, in an offense that's already struggling to run the ball, and losing AJ hurts the run game too, as he's both a great blocker, and keeps Safety's deep.
2. The astronomical cap hit. Almost 90 million dollars. They need to shed a ton of salary just to cover the cost of NOT having Brown next season. In order for that to be worth doing the haul for Brown would have to be MASSIVE. Like multiple 1st rounders, which isn't happening for a 28-year-old WR, let alone one who has had some injuries of late.
3. This idea that Brown is a locker room issue that needs to be taken care of, is BS. He's a team leader. Him being outspoken is often a good thing. Teams often need a guy to do that. If he's gone, who becomes that guy? Its not Barkley or DeVonta. Brown is also a tone setter for this team (and the Titans before them) and those players are more valuable than their stats. Teams need that guy who gets others fired up. Its a big part of the reason why I always thought Skattebo (as just 1 example) was being underrated this spring. When guys like that make plays, the other players get fired up and play even harder. I actually think even more so than the big plays, that's what the Bills have missed the most about Diggs, and its already shown as an asset for NE. Same thing Houston (and probably Cincy too) has been missing without Mixon, and Arizona has been missing without Conner.
I guess for me, the question is, why should the Eagles trade Brown? What's the benefit, and what is enough to make it worth the cost? I personally have a hard time coming up with a good answer for any of those questions.

Only if you need an attractive chrome ornament. It won't do anything for you but people will keep saying "cool ornament, dude".
I doubt it. The more likely scenario, and what has played out in the past, is just a larger piece of the pie for Smith/Goedert.
As an aside, I wouldn't call someone crazy for ranking Goedert as the TE1 overall this week, especially as he went for 9-110-1 against this defense 2 weeks ago.

Agree with 2, slightly disagree with 1, hard pass on 3. He’s being a bad teammate every time he tweets some bs because it makes everyone have to explain it. It puts Jalen in a bad spot, it puts the OC in a bad spot and it puts Nick in a bad spot. This rift between him and hurts has been an ongoing issue going back to 2023. It was partially responsible for tanking their season that year and it almost did last year. It took BG to basically air out their dirty laundry on a Wednesday night radio show to get them to a truce.
Reading the tea leaves I think there’s a fairly decent chance he’s gone. There was no mention of him injuring a hammy last week. He played until the game was over. Now all of a sudden he developed a soft tissue injury? I call bs. They’re holding him out to make sure he doesn’t get injured ahead of the bye and the trade deadline.
