Yeah, it's weird, Cooks has usually fit in pretty quickly whenever he's started with a new team. He's way too talented to be used like Michael Gallup.I've held him all year but it's a 16-team league with a free agent pool picked clean. I think I started him Week 2 because of injuries, but really haven't considered him in weeks. Definitely not what I hoped for on draft night.
LOL...He outscored every player on my roster. He outscored Jones, Hubbard, Watson, Thomas, Andrews combined.Cut him today for a bye week kicker so you can start him with confidence.

The connection between Dak Prescott and Brandin Cooks, particularly in 7-on-7 drills, stood out during the Cowboys’ OTAs yesterday.
Cooks: “Having a season under my belt with Dak, I started slow the first half (last) season, but picked it up. … I’m ready to rock. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a leader, but at the same time, I’m a playmaker. My mindset, I just look forward to get this season going and hitting that stride like I know I’m capable of.
“I’m gonna go out there and make a lot more plays than I did last year.”
Ok… but I guess I was expecting more of a “lost step/ reduced performance” year and more of an upgrade in 3rd rnd pick Jalen Tolbert seeing more targets & growth!Would kill for this guy to be a good, reliable WR3 this season. Certainly not a lot of competition for targets in Dallas.
I was perplexed he had such a limited role last season - he has been a solid #2/3 WR in past. I think there is a chance he is good value this seasonWould kill for this guy to be a good, reliable WR3 this season. Certainly not a lot of competition for targets in Dallas.
Drafted him in my dyno. Finally good to see he won’t be a healthy scratchIf you’ve got a bench spot in deeper dynasties, Ryan Flournoy may be worth a stash, or at least someone to keep on your radar.
The running back?Hunter Luepke is the play here

The team was playing much better when they had another option. At least on offense. D still sucks. Need best 3 players on D to come off of IR before it is too late. Or is it too late already ?Brandin Cooks should be returning week 10. Anything to see here?
Might be worth a free stash in redraft in case he’s featured after he comes back. The cowboys passing schedule gets easier from here on out, and their running game is dead. People are down on Dak, but he’s going to be the king of garbage time RoS and has to throw it to someone besides Cee Dee.
Anyone desperately rolling the dice on Cooks vs the Bengals horrible defense? I’ve somehow found myself considering it.
Bengals will probably put up some points, Dallas will have to throw. Lamb will get Cincy’s best coverage plus he’s nursing the shoulder. A fresh-legged Cooks could still have a 100/2 game in him…right?
He's obviously not the player he once was, but I think he's still got enough in the tank to be a solid #3 WR for NO. Interesting WR room for NO, as the top 3 guys are all speedsters under 190 pounds.
