He’s a couple years removed from the ACL/MCL injury. I think you’ll be more than happy with him and he’ll be in your lineup most weeks.I feel like he's absolutely lost a step, not because of age, but because of repeated lower body injuries. Despite being younger, I think physically, his body is older than Evans. That doesn't mean he won't outproduce his ADP, but I think his top-15 upside is gone. I got him as my WR5 in a draft (10-team) last weekend and feel fine about it.He's going back to the slot, where he's feasted in the past.
New OC, Liam Coen, was the Kentucky OC in 2021 when Wandale Robinson went nuts from the slot. I think Godwin is going to see a lot more usage in 2024.
He's only 28 years old. I don't have any reason to think he's already lost a step at 28.
He'll be a nice value this season.
