WR Cooper Kupp, SEA (1 Viewer)

Cooper Kupp caught 14-of-19 targets for 122 yards in the Rams' Week 4 loss to the 49ers.

Kupp's 14 catches marked a new career-high, and his 19 targets were one off his high-water mark of 20 in 2020. Literally the only means of offense for the Rams this season, Kupp has already seen 54 targets in four games and has three 100-yard outings. Fantasy's easy overall WR1, Kupp may just exceed 200 targets after seeing 191 last year. The Rams just don't have any other capable receivers that Matthew Stafford can connect with right now. Allen Robinson has been a bust through four weeks. Kupp gets the Cowboys in Week 5.

This man is the entire Rams offense.

If you watch Stafford, he seems to only look to Kupp first. Hard to believe that an NFL defense can`t scheme to stop Kupp but they can`t.

Might be let Kupp have his and shut everyone else down as the Rams only had 9 points.
I for one hope they continue to give Kupp 15 catches a game.

The way it is going hard to see any game without at least 8-10 catches.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Cooper Kupp (foot) is expected to play in Week 6 against the Panthers.

Kupp missed practice on Wednesday but was upgraded to a pair of limited sessions to close the week. On Friday, Sean McVay was optimistic Kupp would be able to suit up. It sounds like the star receiver is just dealing with the standard wear and tear of an NFL season. Averaging 105 receiving yards per game, Kupp remains the WR1 overall this week.

Cooper Kupp caught 7-of-8 targets for 80 yards in the Rams' Week 6 win over the Panthers, adding two carries for 17 additional yards.

The 97 yards from scrimmage were actually Kupp's second fewest of the season, which speaks to the kind of year he's having (again). Kupp's second rush was a 13-yarder in the fourth quarter that officially sealed an already out-of-reach game. Interestingly behind Kupp, Matthew Stafford found Allen Robinson five times for 63 yards and a score. Getting Robinson going would relieve some of the defensive pressure on Kupp. The WR1 overall will come off bye in Week 8 against the 49ers.

Henry Ellard is probably one of the 3 most underrated WRs of my lifetime, Sterling Sharpe and Herman Moore being the others. I'll always argue Ellard>Holt or Bruce, he just didn't have Warner, he had Jim Everett.

Hopefully Kupp is ok, always hate to see guys get hurt, especially on meaningless plays.

“Sean McVay says he thinks Cooper Kupp’s ankle was the injury but isn’t sure. Said he’s “kicking himself” for Kupp being in and not calling to run the ball.”

Such a boneheaded mistake. They’d already waved the white flag (Malcolm Brown runs the 2 plays before.) Made no sense.

The Athletic's Jourdan Rodrigue reports that Sean McVay expects WR Cooper Kupp (ankle) to play in Week 9 against the Buccaneers.

Kupp injured his ankle in meaningless garbage time against the 49ers in what looked to be a devastating blow to the Rams' season. However, Kupp has stated that he "dodged a bullet" and it's possible he doesn't miss a single game. McVay elaborated on Kupp's injury, stating that Kupp was dealing with some tissue swelling but had not suffered any structural damage. Even still, fantasy managers should temper expectations for Week 9 until we see Kupp's practice status this week. At the very least, he seems likely to have avoided a multi-week.

Rams 3-4 vs Bucs 3-5

This is like a wildcard Playoff for bad football teams.
Bucs falling to 3-6 and the season is over?
Rams fall to 3-5 after winning the Super Bowl?

Oh yeah, glad Kupp appears to be OK to play but I bet he isn't close to 100% when he steps on the field, it was a nasty tackle he got at the end of the game and I was thinking the worst when Kupp cried out in pain and you saw the anguish on his face during the replay, glad he's going to pull through and hopefully stay productive

Given the state of the divisions these two are in seems like a bigger game for The Rams, there's actually a team with a winning record in their division. Bucs could lose and still only be a game out of first at the end of the weekend.

Sucks they were just on the wrong side of the bye here. I kind of wish they would just rest him this week but they do need to win enough so that there is no incentive to shut things down late season. Even without the ankle injury, Kupp was feeling like a guy to sell. I just don't like the offense and where it could be headed

Let's say hypothetically I'd be open to trading Kupp. What are the players that we could consider no brainier trades to upgrade over Kupp? RB or WR.

You could probably do JJ + a RB. Definitely 2 for 1 but it needs to fix your roster holes. Don't settle for less than a WR1 in return.

TBH Kupp is basically untouchable

I agree. I was wondering if it would be worth it for something like Hurts, Kamara, Pitts to fill a bunch of holes. But then it leaves that gaping one at WR1.

Cooper Kupp (ankle) returned to Rams practice Thursday.

Per The Athletic's Jourdan Rodrigue, Kupp was practicing in "at least" a limited fashion. Fantasy managers can finally breathe a sigh of relief after Kupp was injured at the 1:02 mark of last Sunday's blowout loss and missed Wednesday's practice. He will have to avoid setbacks on Thursday, but Kupp should now be considered likely to suit up against the Bucs.

Looks like we are good to go. Dodged one. I hope McVay and other NFL coaches learned their lesson here. I think it was something pretty similar that caused the initial Michael Thomas ankle injury that has basically ended his career.

Unless you’re totally desperate, I would prefer to be on the side that has the better player. Chances are the 2 you get in return equal Kupp - but you need more, that’s why you are trading him.

Rams coach Sean McVay said Cooper Kupp (ankle) will play in Week 9 against the Bucs.

Kupp came up limping in the fourth quarter of LA's Week 8 loss to the 49ers. After the game, Kupp said he "dodged a bullet" and escaped with a minor injury. With no other receivers making an impact for the team, the Rams can't afford to limit Kupp when he's active. He will see his typical workload versus the Bucs this week. Kupp remains a top-three fantasy option at wide receiver.

Done for the season
I hate back up QBs
Begged for them to stop playing their starters since it was obvious we had a junior varsity level QB
Kupp done with an ankle injury
Looked horrific

Already have my IR move set when the Rams put him there M/T, season is over, no reason to work this guy

Christian Watson, come on down
Had him prior to the season, had to let him go

Sooo, I lose Breece Hall and Kupp for the year. Exhibit 280 why I will not play after this year
Wait, he’s out for the year ?
You wait and see what happens, it was nasty and the reaction he had told the story
I'm not a doctor but it looked like a terrible hit and one most don't just rebound from.
Even if he were sorta OK to play in a couple weeks, the Rams are 3-6 now? Season is about over for them and at what point do the Rams start playing guys for next year?
I'm not trying to be bleak but this has been coming for a while now. He is the entire offense and no WR can keep doing that week in and week out and then you ad din the dingle berry QB today and it was a disaster we should have seen coming. I posted in the game thread, you can find it, very obvious I was worried for Kupp and then not long after you see what happens.

The only good news is that they never brought out the cart. But yeah, looked awful, and we know guys can walk off the field with some pretty gnarly injuries.
