I drafted Chark in multiple leagues with the thinking that we'd see a lot of games like today: a solid to good game turns into a really good FF day thanks to garbage time stats.
Started OBJ. The match up was just too good, and it turned out to be the case. Encouraged by Chark's performance though.Srry just saw this. Hope you picked correctly buddy.
The play calling has been baffling. Ignoring Chark is a big part of that.Chark being ignored again and Jags losing to 0-4 Houston. There is no excuse for this. It's obvious Gruden is bad at his job at this point.
PM me your lineup before next weeks games. I need to know who NOT to start. lol....fricken CharkYeah so the 1ST time I put him in my starting lineup and ........16 yards.....
He limped off with like six left. I saw it, but there was no real addressing of it other than to say he wasn't in the game.So when did he get hurt in the game? I don't recall seeing him in the 2nd half but I never saw or heard about the injury. I was watching on RZ.
Never understand this take or logic.
You dont even know what his injury really is, but you hope he sits?
Who likes to see good players sit not even knowing the injury and its severity?
The main writer for the Jags website stated in his game report that Chark injured his ankle in the 4th quarter. It may not be serious. Check and see if he practices tomorrow, or later in the week.It appeared to be an ankle, and most likely is but is the blurb writer a doctor? It could have been a cramp and they kept him out in a blowout.
You are just stirring up bull#### for no reason. Thanks for answering my question as to who likes to see such things.
Since you know is it a HAS, an achilles, a calf was it just a cramp? To be honest, the only place you know its an ankle injury is from a random blurb at Roto...
Thats all it says.I have seen no other reports as a Chark owner checking the internet and twitterspehere.
But sit out next week cuz you read that blurb? Its not that simple when your logic is based on that one blurb.

D.J. Chark (ankle) isn't practicing Wednesday.
Chark limped off in the fourth quarter of Sunday's loss. The missed practice is a bad sign for his Week 6 status. Chark will need to get in at least a limited practice by Friday to have a chance to play this week.

D.J. Chark (ankle) remained sidelined at Thursday's practice.
After struggling to get healthy before a breakout Week 4, Chark is now back on the shelf after only one good game. He struggled to a 3/16 before departing last week's loss to the Texans. We would not expect him to suit up for Sunday's likely shootout with the Lions, leaving Laviska Shenault and Keelan Cole to dominate targets. Chark has the talent to be a high-end WR2, but 2020 is quickly shaping up to be a lost season for the third-year pro.

The ticker during the other games mentioned Chark left the game with an ankle so not sure what this drivel is about...Since you know is it a HAS, an achilles, a calf was it just a cramp? To be honest, the only place you know its an ankle injury is from a random blurb at Roto...
Glass.
Yeah, I don’t really get Milkman’s recent affinity to rag on the durability of guys he’s been pimping once they get dinged up. Strange.Guy played fifteen games last season.
Frustration or a sort of jujitsu type of trolling, maybe? Either way, a surprise from the otherwise earnest Milky.Yeah, I don’t really get Milkman’s recent affinity to rag on the durability of guys he’s been pimping once they get dinged up. Strange.
He came back super early from that ankle injury last year too. I don’t question his toughness at all.rockaction said:Guy played fifteen games last season.
Just frustration. It's been 4 years straight like this. Gets old when the run bad just goes on and on. He's season is close to shot. Diontae has a little better shot but not much.SayWhat? said:Yeah, I don’t really get Milkman’s recent affinity to rag on the durability of guys he’s been pimping once they get dinged up. Strange.
Yep and he had a good year. Not this year though.rockaction said:Guy played fifteen games last season.
Guess we should throw the towel in on McCaffrey too. Michael Thomas while we’re at it. Dudes are done, they got injured and had a down year 6 weeks in. Pack it up fellas. Pure glass.Yep and he had a good year. Not this year though.rockaction said:Guy played fifteen games last season.
You know where the ignore button is bruh.Guess we should throw the towel in on McCaffrey too. Michael Thomas while we’re at it. Dudes are done, they got injured and had a down year 6 weeks in. Pack it up fellas. Pure glass.
He's big on attention. He's gotta be all-in or all-out on someone.SayWhat? said:Yeah, I don’t really get Milkman’s recent affinity to rag on the durability of guys he’s been pimping once they get dinged up. Strange.
This is awfully left-fieldish. What concern is it of yours what TZ thinks is the right thing to do? It's not like he's a team doctor or has any influence over the situation. The situation is what it is -- it'll all come out in the wash eventually and we'll see what they do. Personalizing his desire to see him sit is what's a little weird here. The drivel is why are people asking players to sit the day they find out about injury without knowing the severity.
Those who say such things are thinking about their own team, doesnt help the masses.
Probably.Friday practices have been the ones that matter in most cases. He most likely aint playing, but still the severity is not known and its Friday.
If it was a HAS wouldnt they have IR'd him by now?
D.J. Chark (ankle) is questionable for Week 6 against the Lions.
This questionable tag comes after Chark did very little in practice this week. Chark looks headed for a game-time decision. Laviska Shenault and Keelan Cole would see a bump in targets if Chark sits.

TL;DR. And now the thread is getting mucked up.This made my head hurt.
My concern is a called discussion? Why is it your concern why I asked him? Remember your answer can be my answer too.
My concern is someone they day of an injury and before any news is out is calling for a player to sit, that can mislead other posters as if other more severe news came out that hasnt been posted here. I wanted to know why while asserting we dont know what his injury is yet. Isnt discussion the point? When as you stated he isnt a doctor and knows nothing more than any limp off the field news at that point. And since he isnt a team doctor, why is he calling for players to sit? lol none of it matters but thats the weird part. Why is it ok for opinions and statements like that to go unchecked? Thats why we are here to discuss and why I joined.
Call it "weird" all you want but people saying someone should sit when no news but "ankle" is out at the time is a little "odd" to me hence me questioning it.
Ankle: NP, NP, LP with a Q tag. Expected by most of us, most likely wont play against a bad Lions team...but we need to hope players play not hope they sit. Never understood the logic as the only people who say that are selfish people who dont need them that said week.
All trivial really, but discussion is discussion. I dont want Chark to sit, if he can walk, play...this was the 80s, he would play. I never want good players to sit.
I’d stash him for sure.Chark was DROPPED this week and no one has rushed to pick him up. Sitting as a FA to scoop. No one is biting yet. He looks like he's also could be out and a game time decision. Not a whole lot of confidence here. Short benches and other injuries coupled with Chark's drop in rankings everywhere - even FBG's have him as WR #38 overall in our scoring projections for the ROS. That means nothing more then a WR #3/4. Wow. Now, granted he could heal soon and become a WR #2 right? I'm not rushing out to pull the trigger because I've got too many other upside WR's like Jefferson, Claypool, and Ruggs to start as WR 3's or this week Claypool in the Flex.
Do you think he will out perform Jefferson and/or Claypool over the rest of the season. Those two are probably safer bets for today, given Shefter's comments.WR12 before last weeks mess in PPG in PPR with a 17.8, more than TerryMac and OBJ at that point.
He is a WR1 when healthy with some good ceiling.
I’m 50/50 on Chark vs Hardman. Hopefully we get some pregame reports on how he looks. Good point that it is positive that he’s not on IR though.Yeah Im not playing Chark unless I get reports he looks fine from the pregame.
But still, glad its not a HAS cuz if it was he wouldnt be Q I dont think and they may have IRd him already.
Tea leaves is all we have, but when he plays, I love his upside always.
In the same spot...the fact Watkins is not playing makes me feel better about the Hardman option...hopefully we get some more info pre-kickoff.I’m 50/50 on Chark vs Hardman. Hopefully we get some pregame reports on how he looks. Good point that it is positive that he’s not on IR though.
Same but the Lions D is a bad that I’m not sure Chark needs 2 ankles to have a big game. Hardman is like a ghost. He only seems to show up when you aren’t looking for him.In the same spot...the fact Watkins is not playing makes me feel better about the Hardman option.
Could not agree more...he is on my Dynasty team and pretty far down the depth chart but between byes and injuries I may have to go with him...definitely not what I was looking to do this year.Same but the Lions D is a bad that I’m not sure Chark needs 2 ankles to have a big game. I would if I couldLaviska Shenault is on my wire, may just flip them if Chark can't go.
