I'm going to fall for the trap again and start him. RIP me.
Me too. Every other WR on my roster has a "Q" next to his name. Except for Nico Collins.

Thanks for posting this Raid...made me go and re-evaluate starting him tonightI'm going to fall for the trap again and start him. RIP me.
If you have better/safer options, absolutelyyyyy do so. I however am deciding between starting 2 of Adams/Jayden Reed (Love may be out) and Chase Brown. Thanks for posting this Raid...made me go and re-evaluate starting him tonightI'm going to fall for the trap again and start him. RIP me.
Backing out his 4th quarter de-pantsing of the weak Raven pass defense, Adams average stat line:
7.5 targets
4 receptions
53% catch rate
46 yards
0 tds
He's been a warrior for so long, and I expended high draft capital on him, but he's out of my lineup until he forces me to play him again
Yep. I've been rotating JSN and Shakir as WR3 based on matchup, but I trust both of them more than Davante at this point. If you have better/safer options, absolutelyyyyy do so. I was just about to say the exact same thingI predict Rodgers drinks extra cayenne pepper water this week resulting in burning diarrhea and dizziness. The dizziness leads to a sack fumble returned for a TD. Burning diarrhea leads to some leakage that gets on the ball causing a poop-slip INT returned for another TD. Adams ends up 3 catches for 35 yards and a stink finger.
This is really weird, because I WAS just going to say that too!I was just about to say the exact same thingI predict Rodgers drinks extra cayenne pepper water this week resulting in burning diarrhea and dizziness. Rodgers loves his bro? Count yourself lucky Lazard isn't in there, Wilson wouldn't even be on the field. Not sure why he has 4 more targets than GW.
Wilson has 17 PPR points tonight. That’s 101 in the past 5 games. The dude is consistent and underrated at this point.Rodgers loves his bro? Count yourself lucky Lazard isn't in there, Wilson wouldn't even be on the field. Not sure why he has 4 more targets than GW.
Wilson is a great WR. And he's just getting started in this league. His growth as a wide receiver from his final year in college to now is amazing.Wilson has 17 PPR points tonight. Hold my beer. He's back in...
.... not that it matters. Wilson is clearly WR1.
Welp…Thanks for posting this Raid...made me go and re-evaluate starting him tonightI'm going to fall for the trap again and start him. RIP me.

Do his again next week when I need an extra boost in points from Adams. He's back in...

You better believe I will! I'll do it every single game so he gets that All-Pro nod and the Raiders pick gets bumped up to a 2nd.Do his again next week when I need an extra boost in points from Adams. He's back in...

Adams>Wilson, but its a 2-man passing game. Adams doesn't come out for about a quarter, and he sees 15+ targets. Adams was a drop and a Rodgers misfire from a 30 point week.Adams still has more targets and AR loves him. Plus DA is very talented. However, we all see that GW will not go down without a fight. It does help that AR’s other best bud is on IR.
It's funny how one play makes you go from loathing a guy to thinking he's going to finish the season as a top tier fantasy WR.
I was planning to bench him too but then I saw they play the Colts this week. I may give him one more start. He's hitting my bench…..
That was just a game but this has dropped every year for 5 straight seasons and went really south last year.2.4 yards per target....oof
As a Raiders fan…I agree.Lastly I'll pile on Adams with one more thing and to be clear I got the guy on a few fantasy teams so hope he can put up stats but if it sounds like I don't like him a lot, that's accurate. Don't really care for him. The guy I saw on that Netflix doc and way he acted to get out of the Raiders was a total turn off. So here is the last pile on. Twice since he joined the Jets they've talked about this lack of energy and I can't help if he's part of that problem? The old player who used to be elite who is not anymore but acts like he still is can be a real turnoff, especially to younger players. I've heard a few times, not sure if it's true but have heard it a few times, that the main Phil Jackson retired was that Kobe was older and had declined but did not realize or accept it and Phil considered that kind of player, the ex-elite who acts like he still is the hardest thing to coach. That's how I view Davante now and wonder if other teams will as well if he sees the open market.
Was on my DND list from the getgo...along with many of the 2nd RD WRs.What a wasted redraft pick this year. One could have gotten more production 6-7 rounds later with Waymo (and that’s with 2 duds & a 2 g suspension) or any of a couple dozen WRs drafted after him.
(I didn’t take him but would have if the draft fell a little differently.)

Don't use a DND list either as I believe most players can become decent value at some point but I'll typically end drafting season with a large amount of early round players I'll never draft in 50 some drafts(BB included) because they never drop enough. Was on my DND list from the getgo...along with many of the 2nd RD WRs.What a wasted redraft pick this year. I was lower than consensus - wasn’t going to take him unless he fell a full round. IIRC he went 1/2 round later, so never had to choose.
I don’t have a DND list. But effectively, putting someone 10-15 spots lower in your rankings is a DND….unless it becomes a great value.
One of the few things that went right for the Raiders thus season was offloading Adams. Adams sunk his career when he left GB for LV and finished it off going to the Jets.
Certainly has value. He's still at least a WR3 with Rodgers. Not what anyone signed up for, but he's not like a guy who is droppable or anything like that.So does he have any value if moving forward, whether it's with or without Rodgers?
Starting him over Deebo and Brian Thomas Jr.
It sucks. But I trust the targets coming his way more than the other guys. PPR, of course.
