WR Gabriel Davis, BUF (2 Viewers)

Went at Pick 72 (10T PPR $300 buy in) Sunday
Went at Pick 63 (12T PPR $150 buy in) Saturday
Went at pick 75 (12T PPR $250 buy in) Sunday

Went 52 this weekend in my draft.
pick 68 (me) in my draft Sat.

I now know he almost (coin flip between him & Nick Bosa) went 5.04, one pick before me, and had I not taken him he would have gone 6.09, 1 pick after me (same guy)
So only 2 of the 12 owners in your league were interested him in the first 6 rounds which is interesting. I think everyone has pumped their brakes since the "get him round 4!" frenzie in here over those 2 days. 6th round feels right.

Which you already knew since we discussed this in the other topic.

And again: in an IDP league, your ADP and reality don't match. I looked at the draft board just now and 8 IDP picks went between rounds 5 and 6. So my pick at 6.08 was equivalent to 6.01

Why the rest of the league didn't grab him isn't for lack of interest, it was the 1st IDP run we had. IDP throws ADP into chaos as the elite LB and DL are gobbled up.
All valid points.
So 6.01 in yours, and right at his ADP of a non IDP league. Might have to grab him late 5th if you want him.

lol at using "a 'coin flip away' from 5.04" as any reflection of his common draft spot when no one touched him for 16 picks after that
lol at repeatedly pretending that 8 of those 16 picks weren't defensive players despite having been informed of this multiple times.
Ok, well you still had a shot at him at 5.05 and passed. And all those other people didn't find him to be 'amazing' value in the 5th or 6th. But sure, take away those 8 picks and he was valued at the 61st player in your draft. You really like to die on this hill lol

Often when people realize they're talking out of both sides of their face, they resort to this sort of deflection. Thanks for the demonstration (deamonstration, I guess)

So back to the original discussion, you thought I got him right at ADP at 6.08 (despite the 8 IDP players taken) and you think "5.06 isn't too crazy", but those are completely consistent things in your eyes.

Or you've just been trolling me incessantly. One of the two. ;)
You're making no sense. 3 WR's BOOSTS where he's going over 2 WR leagues. So if you're chiming in that your league is start 3WR, then pick 68 (60 without idp) is even more telling that on average he isn't going round 4.

ADP is around 6.01, so anywhere mid 5th to mid 6th is in that range.

A far cry from the 4th round you were pushing 2 weeks ago.

We're starting to see where he's really going now.
Yes, because 8 is a sufficient sample size from which to draw any meaningful conclusion.

Very scientific and definitive.
Ahh, back to your stubbornness. Never lose that HSG!
I've showed you sample sizes of thousands of leagues. His ADP across every redraft MFL REAL draft that's happened since August 15th is pick 62.

But keep talking about how he "almost went" in the 5th in your league before you took him at 68 :lmao:

This is a false premise fallacy.

I never "pushed" that he was going in the 4th.

I informed people that he was going in the 4th in NFC drafts. Perhaps reading comprehension is the issue here.

I also quite specifically said that I *thought* i would have to take him in the 5th, because I *guessed* he'd be going in the 6th in my league. And he would have gone in the 6th regardless of whether I took him there or not, AND he nearly went in the 5th.

Perhaps if you weren't so obsessive about catching me in some weirdo "gotcha" you'd take more time to read the posts and we could have a thoughtful discussion, instead of....well, instead of whatever weirdo stuff this is you insist on continuing.

ohhhhhhhh burrrrrnnnnn. From the guy who goes on rants about personal attacks.

There's a difference between your "guessing" and "ID BET MY LIFE ON IT!" and "I GUARANTEE!" terms you threw around that both predictably didnt happen

I draft Sunday. If I can have him in the 5th I’ll be absolutely thrilled. I want pieces of that passing game.
You had him in the 5th... and passed... and so did a lot of people after that. But you got him in the 6th where he's usually going so good job :D
3rd time you've quoted this. You gonna do it a 4th, you insane stalker weirdo?
If you think I'm an insane stalker weirdo then it's one button for you to not see my posts again, but clearly you don't want to do that.

Any others? This is good info that could help those with their drafts coming up who might have wanted to take him in the 4th round after reading these boards last week.

FWIW, home draft PPR - 59th overall at the 6.09 in a 10 team start 2 WR + Flex.

I took Brandin Cooks at 51st, Amon-Ra St. Brown went the following pick and then Gabe Davis - followed by Michael Thomas, Marquise Brown, Allen Robinson, Adam Thielen, JJSS. I think he was appropriately drafted in this league but I am higher on than Amon-Ra St. Brown than probably most but I consider his production and Davis' production to have some parallels. I went the safe route with Cooks and if it weren't 19 picks until my next I would have let Cooks fall down the draft board, because he is the best receiver nobody ever talks about... but, couldn't risk.

No, it's not a lesson. The ONLY lesson here is that you're a crazy weirdo stalker who'll follow me around for literally a week throwing my throw-away comments at me as though it proves anything or is some monumental gotcha.

Why would anyone care this much about what I thought would happen IN MY OWN LEAGUE?!

I could see if I said "I'd bet my life he's going to go in the 5th in every league on the planet this weekend", but I didn't. The entire context is my home league, and you look like a total weirdo for this.

Now FFS stop stalking me already. It's creepy AF and I lose whatever respect I might have had for you with every one of your posts.
More personal attacks, nice.

You're not being stalked, it will be okay. If you're bothered by being quoted then click ignore and you will be just fine.

I don't mind the Cooks > Davis selection at all. I would have done the same (and did so with Sutton in fact).

I also agree with Davis over many of those players - JJSS has a lot of health concerns with that balky knee. ARSB has to prove he can do it again, Thomas health concerns, Thielen age - Davis has as much potential upside there without the red flags/risks of poor health. Of course Davis, like ARSB has to prove it as well, but I like Davis' QB/situation better - it seems more predictable with the best QB in the NFL.

Pointing out your repeated nonsense isn't a personal attack.

lol ok there man. Try getting back to the topic or block me if you don't want to see. Next.

Anyone seen him go in the 4th round of your home league?
Yep. Last night he went 4.7 in a 14 teamer. Was hoping to get him at 5.12 so at least I didn't get sniped right before my pick :shades:
Ya it's always better when it's not right before you. 5.12 in 14 teamer would be pick 70 which might have been a bit ambitious.
Yeah, I didn't expect him to be there at 5.12, but couldn't pull the trigger at 4.3 with Mike Williams still on the board.

I played golf in the morning with the guy that grabbed him. Too much FF banter during the round maybe

Okay boys. Walk away and stop commenting to each other.

I’m here for Gabe Dave news. Not to hear you two bicker back and forth. No matter who started it. I’m ending it.

Stop responding and I’ll refill my annual fantasy hot sauce order @Hot Sauce Guy
