He'll just shift all gears to Mayfield.Well you can forget that. I just drafted him in my main league tonight. Probably won't step on the field but we'll finally rid ourselves of Soulfly

Come on man, this has to be shtick. There is no substitute to being at camp and building a rapport with your QB - especially when this is the tandem's first year together. You'll notice that a lot of the top flight WRs (Brown, Julio, OBJ, Green, Allen, Adams, Hilton, Baldwin and etc.) have had many years to establish chemistry with their QBs .The position is all about timing. Landry has a huge leg up on Gordon, will be the WR1 and garner whatever market share that entails.I realize I already said that I think his being away from the team will be a positive.
Now, after watching Hard Knocks, I think that for more reasons than simply because his sobriety was in danger.
I feel I have been watching film on Jarvis Landry and Baker Mayfield extensively. Steps, hands, eyes, etc. In slow motion. Up close. I get there is older film on Jarvis, but opposing coaches are getting some great film. And they now know Jarvis is going to come out hot. Defenses will adjust.
On the other hand, there is no new film on Josh Gordon other than the few games he played last year. He had a full off-season with the team and is supposedly in freakish shape. This isn't just an athlete though - we know he can play the position also.
This is indisputable. Between Landry, Njoku and the RB’s there’s also quite a few mouths to feed. Even if he stays on the field for all 16 he won’t hit his ADP IMOCome on man, this has to be shtick. You are talking as if Gordon and Taylor have not been working out all summer together already.Come on man, this has to be shtick.   Thank you. Wasn't quite Soulflyish, but it's a start. UNSTOPPABLE!!!!First, you edited out the part where I talked about timing. So let me retort.
FIRST: "I question the timing with Tyrod on some routes initially. BUT, I think Tyrod is a good breakdown passer. Tyrod moves in the pocket better than most and can run outside with the ball and extend the play well. And he doesn't turn the ball over. I think that bodes well for the WRs and Josh Gordon. "
I think that Taylor will extend plays. I don't think he is going to be sitting in the pocket in a traditional west coast offense. I expect things to break down inside (more often than not) and him to be pushed outside.
You are talking as if Gordon and Taylor have not been working out all summer together already.
Here is an article from when Taylor, Gordon and Landry were all working out together earlier this summer. When Taylor called the two "unstoppable"...
I think Cleveland knows what they are doing. I think they are both going to be really good. And coming from behind a lot.
https://247sports.com/nfl/cleveland-browns/Article/Jarvis-Landry-Josh-Gordon-is-unstoppable-for-the-Cleveland-Browns-119612875/
It was actually Landry that called Gordon unstoppable. I made a mistake and corrected it. ...Thank you. Wasn't quite Soulflyish, but it's a start. UNSTOPPABLE!!!!
That may be the first time that sentence was ever typed.I think Cleveland knows what they are doing.
I don't care who said it, just need some enthusiasm around these parts. I needed an anchor WR on my team so I drafted Gordon last night. It was actually Landry that called Gordon unstoppable. I made a mistake and corrected it. ...
The position for Gordon = go deep and beat the DB for the ball.Come on man, this has to be shtick. Let's assume 4 and give 3 catches because he's the greatest WR in theLandry will be the possesion/high volume WR.
Gordon will be the 3-4 deep targets/RZ WR.
Haha! That made me chortle my coffee. Lets hope he can make it to the field.Let's assume 4 and give 3 catches because he's the greatest WR in theleagueever.
i have no idea what this is all about?Let's assume 4 and give 3 catches because he's the greatest WR in theleagueever. That should be good for roughly 3-200-3 a week or 48-3200-48 on the year. I'm going to temper down those numbers to 42-2800-42 because I think he has a recovery meeting on Thursdays and probably won't travel to LA.
He's making fun of Soulfly3's constant predictions/projections of Gordon's numbers that always turn out spectacularly wrong.i have no idea what this is all about?
If you draft him be sure to get McCoy as well, that would make for a fun and stress free fantasy seasonI desperately want to draft him, but I'm not sure I can afford to do that.

Dude - you know the rules. I only invoked your name once.A lot of "I heard" going on.
Maybe hear what the people closest to him are saying
I am sure we greatly disagree on many things. You and I greatly disagree with the definition of "big".
I agree - I bust his chops from time to time but he’s a good dude, and contributes as well as anyone.I am sure we greatly disagree on many things.
Soulfly gets a bad rap, people who don't like him either take magic football way too seriously or are way too...no they just take magic football way too seriously.

Dez Bryant leaves Browns' visit without a contract, but talks continueAnd now reports are that Dez signed for 1 year and 7 millionn.
No way I’ll draft him this year now.
**Couldn't verify on Twitter**
If Bryan does sign, I won’t touch Gordon at all.
He went 5.01 in a real money league I was in this week. 12 team full ppr with a pretty decent buy in and saavy owners.Where is he going in money leagues? Anyone have any real results? Bass?
Still in CLEDez Bryant leaves Browns' visit without a contract, but talks continue
Haven't seen a thing anywhere about him signing a contract, only that he's left without one
watched last night, and it's absolutely terrible.I have NEVER seen Hard Knocks
Practice is over RatedEven if he comes back by week 1, how much playing time will he get early in the season? Not much in my opinion. No training camp, no practice with the new quarterbacks and new offensive system and no game action with them. Who knows if he knows the playbook and how well?
I have NEVER seen Hard Knocks
Well it is the Brownswatched last night, and it's absolutely terrible.
just looks so phony and so calculated
I've sat though 30+yrs of Browns games, can't sit thru an episode of hard knocks.Well it is the Browns
Yes he could end up in jail, but that usually isn't the first option. Assuming he gets back to work, we would get paid within the first two weeks of September. The custodial parent isn't going to want him to miss any games and any decent attorney can get any jail time postponed until the middle of September. He could end up in jail, but it's very very unlikely.Apparently he's having problems with his child support payments. Could land him in jail:

Agreed. Going to jail doesn’t help him earn a paycheck and catch up on payments. It’s not going to happen.Yes he could end up in jail, but that usually isn't the first option. But will he be able to afford all the child support payments he has coming to him when he makes every NFL DB his #####? I'm not so sure....Agreed. Going to jail doesn’t help him earn a paycheck and catch up on payments. It’s not going to happen.
Please clarify...days in jail, NA meetings, TDs, AA meetings, games suspended, cars sold, sets rep'd?Top 5 wr this season
Top 5 tallest receivers to play 4 games or fewer?Top 5 wr this season

You would need to understand the context. There was a reason they focused on running game.So the Browns had 97 total passing yards against the Bills? Seems that would make it a little tough to get excited about any receiving option.
