I spent a 2.10 on him last year, so no biggie if he doesn’t work out, and in FFPC (where you can only keep 14 skill players) he’s an easy cut if he doesn’t make anything with this great opportunity in KC.
I own him on a few dynasty teams, all FFPC, and one in particular is very deep at both WR and in particular so keeping him on that team in particular is a challenge.
But I won't cut him if he does not put up any type of stats this year nor would I give him up for a second. His potential is just to great and next season after a full off-season and possible to likely exits of JuJu, Hardman and MVS.
Caveat I'll throw out is I'm talking about a lack of production this year is not a reason I'd move on. If the injuries, lack of availability continue or I get any indications the Chiefs are not fond of how he's acting in the building all bets are off. I just won't really care if he's not overly productive this season because I don't worry about the talent.
One thing I'd add on fact you spent 2.10 on him. That same league I referenced were I was very deep at WR is a league I took ASB at 2.10 last year. Week before he broke out, so waivers during week 12, I got to thinking he was a low upside type who I concluded I was not going to keep and did not see him helping me much the last few weeks of the year so I made a waiver claim where he was my intended cut. I got lucky and someone outbid me so I kept him. Just trying to preach the value of a little patience.
