I agree with this although I think the targets will be more concentrated than they've ever been with Ebron out of the picture. It's similar to LAR where it's only Kupp, Cooks, Woods and Gurley who see work in the passing game. If it's mostly just Tate, Jones, Golladay and Riddick seeing work than all of their floors raise a tad, especially if DET once again can't run the ball and has to lean on their short passing game as an extension of their run game.
Also look at the
type of routes Golladay ran in week 1 and compare it to the
types of routes Ebron ran as a Lion. Now look at the
types of routes Jones' runs. Everyone assumed that Tate could see a bump with Ebron gone but I noticed when watching film on Golladay last year that his route tree was very similar to Keelan Cole's, where he was utilized heavily in the short/intermediate passing game with vertical passing work sprinkled in. Golladay is probably DET's most well-rounded receiver.
