WR Ladd McConkey, LAC (1 Viewer)

I picked up Josh Palmer just in case. I love the matchup and the way the Herbert is playing, and I need a piece of this receiving corps on Monday.

Poor man's Keenan Allen right out of the gate. IMO only question is if he can stay healthy. If he does, IMO he will finish as a borderline low end fantasy WR2 / top end fantasy WR3.

Feeling pretty good about this prediction. Right now, in what I view as a typical PPR scoring league, he is WR18 in total points and WR32 in ppg. And he is trending up...

Preparing for the possible downside if he can’t go Monday night who takes his place and/or moves up?
I own him but don’t follow the Chargers closely. Since it’s a Monday night game I don’t have anybody on the roster who I can plug in.

Want to start him be cause of the very good matchup but it would be nice to wor have insurance.

Ideally we will get word Saturday that he is good to go.

I'm willing to take a ZERO Monday night and hope I still win. I don't have a replacement either, unless I can make a trade today. Either way, I'm not sweating it.

Top-10 dynasty WR? I think so.

I would expect a big upgrade at WR for the Chargers this off-season, but I think Herbert can support 2 top-shelf WRs.

Ladd McConkey with a gritty and scrappy 8-105-0 on 9 targets in the first half. Falcons clearly having trouble with his sneaky athleticism and deceptive speed. Wild to see a rookie with such high football IQ but hey that's what you get from a blue collar, lunch pail kind of guy.

Had me in the first half not gonna lie

He needs to bulk up a little. This NFL life will kill him if he's going with the frame he has.

I'm even more concerned about this injury than the CMC (Mason owner), so please post any updates as you see them, thanks.

McConky’s health has been a constant concern since he was drafted.
Hopefully. He can strengthen his body next year to handle the punishment and avoid injuries that diminish his performance while he is in his prime.
Talent is there to be a # 1 WR with perhaps fewer TDs to cap his upside.

Has there been an update on his latest injury?
I'll need to decide between him and Jamison Williams this week, I prefer Ladd but with the early game I'll probably be forced to go with JW

The only update we'll get on Ladd before Thu would be a bad one.

He practiced in limited fashion today. Considering it's a Wednesday I'd say that's a GREAT season that's he's playing this week.

#Chargers WR Ladd McConkey, dealing with an AC joint injury in his shoulder and a sprained knee, is a true game-time decision, sources say. He's listed as questionable and the team hopes to give him right up to 90 minutes before kickoff.

This kid is on the injury list and winds up playing each week. Kind of annoying and kind of impressive.

Guy in my league has McConkey in his lineup. He could make the final playoff spot if he picks someone up and drops one of his guys on bye. He seems to be letting it go though.

According to Daniel Popper of The Athletic, Los Angeles Chargers rookie wide receiver Ladd McConkey (knee) was seen at practice on Wednesday. This is a great sign, as the Georgia product was unable to suit up last weekend due to a knee injury. Fantasy managers should continue monitoring his status throughout the week, but seeing him back at practice on Wednesday suggests he should be in line to return to action this weekend. Over his previous six games, the rookie has begun to find his footing at the professional level, as he has averaged 16.8 PPR points per game during this span with 91.7 yards per game. If McConkey can return this weekend, he should be started in all formats facing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who have allowed the eighth-highest PPR points to opposing wideouts. UPDATE: McConkey was limited on Wednesday.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

Just bumping this to page 1 so that it's easy to find. I'm sure I'm not alone with my interest in his status.
Chargers are optimistic he can play according to Rapsheet. I picked up Johnston just in case, but I’m rolling with Ladd over my other options. Matchup is too juicy.
If he plays, I hope he actually plays. You know what I mean?

Thank you. In dynasty I'm looking for good news regarding McConkey. My downgrade option if he does not go will be one of the following: Najee, Rhamondre, or Tyrone Tracy.

I am choosing between Ladd and Rhamondre. If I have a decent lead, I'll start the RB, if behind, I will plug in the WR.

I currently have McConkey in over Pittman. I'll keep it that way unless there is some last minute news regarding Ladd. Thankfully they both play at the same time.

Currently in my lineup. Hoping I do not need to pull him. I've got Shepard, Patrick & Austin on standby. Leaning Patrick if needed.
