WR Mike Evans, TB (8 Viewers)

So... Mike has at least 1000 yards every season of his career. He's currently at 335 yards. He has 7 games left this season. Bucs also have a fairly easy path to get at least 6 wins in the last 7. Let's do this.
I hope he gets it, but fairly easy wins wouldn't equate to yardage for WR
True. Maybe easy is not the right word. Mike should have his way with the upcoming defenses.
I doubt he gets it. Coen has really reigned in the downfield passing, which has been a net positive for the offense overall. Mike running those clearouts and taking defenders with him opened things up. They were humming prior to the injuries. He was still only playing about 60% of the snaps even before he got hurt though.

I expect they'll continue to lean on the screen/run game against these teams. Assuming game scripts work out that way.
Don’t think your snap percentage is accurate. He is in the high 77-82% for almost every game besides one before injury.
66% on Pro Football Reference.

That includes the game he was injured and the one he tried to play through and ended up on IR.

You can bet TB will do everything in their power to keep that steak going.
They kinda have to if they want to win.
Their top receivers this season are Godwin, who has been out 3 weeks, Otton, both running backs, and Evans.
It shouldn’t be a surprise that they have gone 0-4 this past month.
They can go 7-0 the rest of the way. Most likely they’ll drop one or two of the games and end up 10-7 or 9-8. 10-7 might get a WC.

It isn’t an exaggeration to say Evans carries the Bucs playoff chances on his shoulders. He’ll probably open things up for Bucky and white but he’s one of the top targets for FF RoS.

Agree 100%.

My point is earlier this year the Rams went out of their way to get Williams a TD each game.
The same will happen with Evans and TB. They are going to feed him.
Hopefully Otton and the RB's take enough coverage to allow Evans to feast off those opportunities.

I'm counting on it. Just bought Evans for the stretch run in dynasty with the hope that they'll really try to keep his streak alive.
Curious what you paid.
I paid two mid seconds in the off season for Evans and Likely.
Strikingly similar over here. I paid 2 back half 2nds ('25 & '27). Got back Evans and probably an early-mid 3rd ('26).

Tried to get it done with the Evans owner in my league as he has JAllen on bye. Mahomes + Jeudy did not get it done (sad emoji) - that's as high as I'm going for a guy that could aggravate that hammy 10 seconds after I make the deal.

Evans schedule is all kinds of goodness though.

I paid Addison and Mims. I like what you paid more, but as one of 2-3 real contenders with some wr injuries I decided to bite the bullet before the deadline.
ETA - ppr dynasty. Only 3wr so depth WRs are a bit less valuable than in leagues where you start up to 5, for example. Still didn't love paying Addison.

New injury on the report today for Evans. He now has a calf injury as well. Beat reporter doesn't think it's serious but something to monitor.
