Good to see them actually using him properly.
In ppr, ended up being a wash - 0.20 point increase. While I don't regret the move today, I was disappointed he didn't get more targets.Love it. You're doing god's work. I'm justing waiting for him to start showing consistency so I can trade Amari in dynasty.
I duno about that. Having a speedy WR3 to top the top of the defense off always helps a WR1. I think the real loser in this situation is Keenan Allen. Much of his value was him being a target monster but I think Mike Williams eats into those mostly, particularly in the RZChargers need to trade Tyrell Williams to the Cards and then it's go time.
1. A speedy WR to take the top of the defense works best if the defense is afraid he is going to catch the ball. That is a problem for both Tyrell and Benjamin.I duno about that. Where did you draft him? I mean what WR was he on your team 3? 4? 5?Dropped him right before kickoffs for Wilkins... ####### right here. Also dropped gio last week.
15th round. actually dropped him and picked him up again last Sunday. he was like wr6. But had guys like Shepard Lockett Davis ahead of him.Where did you draft him? I mean what WR was he on your team 3? 4? 5?
Overall how many WRs were drafted before him?
WtfDropped him right before kickoffs for Wilkins... ####### right here. Also dropped gio last week.
Rivers isn’t afraid to keep throwing it to his guy. His praise is definitely encouraging.Tied with Allen for most targets this week (seven). His second touchdown was a catch on fourth and two. The team's confidence in him is growing exponentially.

I was at the game on Sunday and Allen was noticeably limping on the sidelines lateAllen didn't practice today.
I'm as big a fan as anyone but let's not call anything settled about Williams yet. The season is young.Top 7 pick in NFL draft. Injured all rookie season. Everyone hates him.
Then an interesting thing happened...he got healthy. He is who SD thought he was when they invested a top 10 draft pick in him.
The lesson, don't give up on high draft picks who have injuries year 1. He wasn't on the field his rookie season.
Of course it's not settled. Many had him buried after his rookie season when he wasn't even healthy enough to play. That's all i'm saying.I'm as big a fan as anyone but let's not call anything settled about Williams yet. The season is young.
you would think this, but its the chargers they do nothing easy, the D is a sieve right now....Not loving the matchup this week. The Chargers should be up early and by a lot. Could be a heavy dose of rushing and time killing by the Chargers.
Damn. I'm starting both of them.Shawnky said:Flip flopping between him and Boyd at flex this week. Very tough decision.

Yeah, my flex decision is Williams or Lindsay with Callaway and Godwin also considerations.Shawnky said:Flip flopping between him and Boyd at flex this week. Very tough decision.

Did any of them ever look as good at the NFL level as MW does this season? I’m pretty sure the answer is no.See also Laquon Treadwell, John Ross, Corey Coleman, Josh Doctson...

Your snark is failing here.We just haven't waited long enough, right?
It's not snark, JWB. @ILUVBEER99 made an asinine blanket statement. You know that kind of cheap analysis is bull####. Every situation is unique and requires specific data points to determine whether or not it is relevant. To just blurt out that highly drafted rookies who get injured simply need to get healthy is useless.Your snark is failing here.
I get what you're saying, but BMW has shown in 3 weeks more than those guys have together combined in three years.See also Laquon Treadwell, John Ross, Corey Coleman, Josh Doctson...
Has he, really? Don't get me wrong, Williams had an amazing game last week and was very good in Week 2 as well. But are his highlights demonstrably better than the ones I've linked below? All these guys have a ton of talent, and by looking at these highlights you could reasonably assume that they're all budding NFL stars.I get what you're saying, but BMW has shown in 3 weeks more than those guys have together combined in three years.
I just had to add him to a dynasty trade that objectively favored me, and I hated doing it. I think if he can stay healthy he is gonna be a TD monster for the next 3-4 years with Rivers.
I'm pretty heavily invested in BMW in dynasty, but I can't shake the feeling that early this year is a sell-high point. I think I am just gunshy from my recent poor experience with young WRs, but my concern is he's more flashy highlight plays (granted a lot of them in 3 weeks) without the target or snap share to keep it up when everyone is healthy.Has he, really? Ok so sue me for hyperbole. Point is after his first full off-season BMW is on the verge of stringing together a full month of consistent good football.Has he, really? You're kind of missing the point. What i meant was you shouldn't judge a player who hasn't really even played because of injury. Especially when that guy was a top 10 NFL draft pick. Once the guys you listed (Laquon Treadwell, John Ross, Corey Coleman, Josh Doctson) actually got to play they still didn't show much. Also, for the most part they weren't considered elite franchise type players coming into the NFL. They were solid prospects, but not elite like Mike was coming into the league.tangfoot said:It's not snark, JWB. @ILUVBEER99 made an asinine blanket statement. I’m not sure about that. I don’t recall Tyrell getting many, if any, snaps in the slot in 2016 when Allen was out. I would think Benjamin, Gates, and Ekeler would split most of the slot snaps.SameSongNDance said:@Just Win Baby
If Allen sits, does Tyrell move into the slot? I think Allen technically has/had the best match-up this week against K'Wuan Williams and I would want to exploit it. Of course I'd start Mike too.
