WR Puka Nacua LAR (2 Viewers)

If he isn’t healthy now he’s never gonna be this season

The bursa sac is going to be continually impacted
I have right bursa sac issues and I get injections every few months as needed. It helps.
Right, but Puka needs to fight off 250 lb linebackers.

You have to get off the couch to get a beer.
I get the injections so I can roll in the hay with the misses
Didn’t know that you live on a farm….

I don’t, we just put down hay in our bed to remind me of my original childhood home back in Ky. You know, no shoes and a dirt floor. Had to eat dirt sandwiches and fish eyeball soup for dinner.

The way you say it sounds painful.

There’s no way the Rams put him back out there to block without confirming he didn’t have any serious ligament damage right? :crying:

I'm so worried rn.
It’s either gonna be a few weeks of rest or out for season. (These are my personal guesses… I know nothing)

The toughest part will be living the entire season out with all the Kupp fans telling us “I told ya so”. And so far they are RIGHT.

I wouldn't say they are right if he leaves for injury.

I have 3 shares of Puka, and in one of those leagues (the most important one), I also have Kupp.

I know without Puka, Kupp will feast, but I'm not entirely sure that Puka out would vault Kupp into top 5 WR status as he will face a LOT of double coverage, etc.

The guesstimates floating around X are saying anywhere from 1 to 8 weeks. But it is pure speculation based upon the various injuries it could be.

Kupp was doubled a lot in 2021 and 2022. He feasted historically.

I'm not sure how long he can keep it up, he probably ran 27 miles last night! But right now, he's back to the old Kupp

This sucks. I have 0 shares in fantasy but the kid is really easy to root for. He's as tough as they come, this has to be eating him up inside. Hopefully he gets the proper rest this time and they find out what's really going on.

Anyone know approximate timeline on a PCL sprain? Google saying 4-6 Months but I'm assuming that's not an NFL athlete.

It really depends on severity. Could be weeks, could be months. Probably on the lesser side since we're dealing with a young pro athlete with some of the best physical therapy and doctor's available. I am not a doctor but know someone how's had a similar injury.

When the injury happened last night I opened the Rams schedule and figured I should think about not having him until week 7.

I don't like how quickly they announced it.

My hope is that they're going EXTRA safe with him since they might have gone not safe enough with him to start the season.

Imagine if he came back and hurt it again. I think they'll stretch it as long as they need to, (I hope)... so hopefully when he's back he is for sure 100%

Didn't he have injury issues in college too? If yes, what were they? I'm being lazy about googling it.

Broken foot freshman year at Washington. Don’t recall any major injuries at BYU but could be wrong.

Didn't even know he went to college. Figured he was just born as a grown man, and a few days later played for the Rams.

Well, Benjamin Button was born an old man, that developed into a young stud, before disappearing into an embryo, then nothing.

Hope he gets back soon. Hate to see it. Gotta say, Doc Chao saved me on this one. Traded him away in two leagues and avoided him in redraft because he called a possible PCL injury in addition to the bursa sac in training camp. Shaping up to be a very disappointing season for him.
