WR Romeo Doubs, GB (1 Viewer)

Imagine watching Golden beat his man for 2 long TDs last night and being down on him. It's not his fault that one ball was underthrown and the other was overthrown
 
2/68 week 1, 3 targets OK. Not many started him Week 1

3/28/TD, About 11 in PPR? No TD and it was a pretty weak night and they had Reed go down with an injury
You can't trust this guy week in and week out, that said with Reed gone for at least 2 months, he's got a limited ceiling and his floor can be low single digits some weeks

ALL Packers' WRs are unreliable at the moment

well in light of the injuries. hes a candidate for pickup if hes available on your wire.

he wont be in deeper leagues, but in leagues with a shorter bench I think he will be around.
 
No Reed, no Watson, no target hog at RB. Could be a useful flex over next few weeks. Maybe Golden passes him. Maybe he doesn't

different skillset. if golden surpasses his production I dont know that he will dig into his targets. at least.... not till reed returns. His skillset will cut into both of theirs at least to some degree.

I managed to get him in a couple leagues. Really love his skillset as a TE. but given the way the Pack spreads the ball around I didnt think he had the level of upside that I wanted to see. but one Reed injury comes and it is suddenly looking like hes the #1 option. granted its a sample size of one game so it may not actually mean much. but right now hes looking like a real nice pickup.
 
Next Gen Stats
Jordan Love & Romeo Doubs connected on a key 3rd & long conversion late in the 4th quarter, increasing the Packers win probability from 28.3% to 43.6%.

Love has targeted Doubs on 3 of 4 plays against man coverage; all 3 have resulted in a first down.

Later on that drive, Jordan Love found Romeo Doubs on another third and long for the go-ahead touchdown.

The Packers win probability rose from 56.8% to 83.8% as a result of the play (+27.0%).

Weird night. Double Doubs goes for a triple on my UNO team that was trying to trade this bobblehead bestie all week. Triple also for number of Flex spots. #DobbleDobble

That sounds very reasonable. I’m trying to ascertain his dynasty value? He’s a free agent next year and will def be signing somewhere else .

The problem with all Packer wrs outside of Golden, because it's so early on his career, is that they all have flashed then follow with a 2 catch 23 yard game. I'm interested, mildly, but we have been wanting a Packer wr to be the guy for awhile now so call me skeptical.

Isn’t that true of most receivers on most teams? How many WRs a year are highly consistent in terms of receptions and yards?
 
This will obviously be Doubs best game of the year. He’s never gone over 60 receptions or 700 yards in his career. I’d be surprised if he scored 6 more tds the rest of the year. That said, he’s a decent shot at 6-8 points in 0.5 PPR every week.

Glad I drafted him the last two seasons, dude produces. There’s definitely a good connection between he and Love, especially near the endzone. He’s been one helluva a good flex player for me. Loving it

Not sure I would say that Doubs "produces". His production has been sketchy his whole career. But Doubs does have a chance to be a WR3 while Reed is out, especially if GB has to score more to win. Not sure if it will happen.

Doubs is completely dependent on touchdowns. If he scores one, he may have been a decent start. He has 13 receptions on the year. For comparison, that's as many as Travis Hunter, Hunter Renfrow and Sterling Shepherd. He's averaging 3.5 receptions and 45ypg. He's a decent dart throw, but that's all he is.
 
He's the guy that I often throw into my lineup in desperation and I end up getting like 10 points. And I'm like eh alright. I know I'm getting some production and there is TD upside. But no confidence to do it other than desperate spots.
