WR Tyreek Hill, MIA (15 Viewers)

Taken off injury report. Giddy up.

On a side note. The NFL suspended the camera man who handed over phone to tyreek for remainder of year. Horrible decision. If u watch the clip what the hell would any of us do in that scenario? So dumb NFL.

Tyreek is going to take care of the camera man.

Thanks for posting. Hell ya.

This comes after Fitzgibbons made a video explaining his side of the story. Fitzgibbons said he was thankful for his time working with the NFL, but he was frustrated by such a stiff punishment, especially since the league showed the clip on its social media platforms.

Look at this cool TD celebration!....oh by the way your suspended now..... stupid NFL

nice move Tyreek!

Kid handled this like a seasoned champ. Says all the right things in his video recap. Calls out the NFL for firing him, but does so respectfully and leaves plenty of room for them to save face by not making his indefinite suspension permanent. Dude is an early 20s social savant and/or extremely well advised.

Any concerns here about this gruesome tackle lingering into the next few weeks?
Bet it swells up a bit and with the adrenaline gone it could be pretty painful.

He's a gamer though. Unless it's a high ankle sprain I bet he will be difficult to keep off the field. That said, he may be limited as he was last night.

No way he'll sit.

He'll get shot up and even if he just runs straight down the field, his presence will help the offense.

They need this next game. Next couple are against DAL and BALT.

Wont help fantasy owners possibly as a decoy.

After the Jets they have 3 huge games against tough opponents then hopefully the playoffs. I can actually see a scenario where he sits this week.

With a guy like Waddle on the other side, Tyreek playing decoy could be incredibly effective. If he’s able to just run straight at 80% speed the defense will have to defend him as if he’s 100%, then just pepper Waddle with targets and let him run wild for a change.

Let's say he is currently 60% and they play this decoy game. He risks reinjury. His 60% doesn't improve. Then think if he rehabs all week, takes one game off, rehabs next week. Maybe up to 80%? They play the Jets this week. Then 3 tough games. Then hopefully playoffs. Take fantasy football out of this and think specifically from an organization standpoint. It's not popular, but sitting him at home against Jets makes sense.

Anyone ever sprain an ankle and within an hour been running as fast as he was and then not been fine in 6 days?

Not to mention two chunk plays in the 2nd half... where the separation was like 10 yards! Haha
Ive seen players come back and play, but miss the next week.
However, not usually from a regular ankle sprain
Hill said he can’t cut, and that he thinks this will effect him the rest of the regular season.

Might be hyperbole, but I know I’ve seen players play through ankle sprains & have it swell/stiffen, and either miss the following week or be limited

Tee Higgins is the last I can recall - played through an ankle a couple seasons back, and was basically a decoy for 2-3 weeks.

Jets have the #1 pass defense right?

They can likely beat the Jets without Hill. I agree it would make the most sense to bench him.

But he said he’s still in pursuit of the 2K season. Which seems selfish and short-sighted.

If I’m the Jets the 1st thing Imma do is bracket Waddle and test that theory.

If he's injured as the weekend approaches, sure. If he's healthy enough to play, he'll play.

I'm with Hot Sauce Guy on this one. These things swell up with time. Chances are, it'll swell up the next few days and turn black and blue and all that. Then the swelling will subside and all that. Not sure about Tyreek's situation, but I've certainly seen it run the course he's described before, so that's really all I'm commenting on.

tee higgins doesn't need to be have an injury to disappear for 2-3 weeks.

No way he sits. He has 458 yards left to make history. Every fan knows who the first RB to reach 2K was, and that was 50 years ago. He wants everyone to remember his name forever too (insert joke here).

Not this season, no. 🥹

The team might have other interests, like, say, having him healthy for the postseason. Or even the last 2 games of the regular season.

They just got a hell of a sneak preview of what their offense looks like without him and it wasn’t pretty. And that was against a bottom of the league pass defense.

It's been a day or two. Regular sprains heal quick for regular people, let alone a cheetaaa

Except he ran out and played on it.

The quote I heard was from today. Said he couldn’t cut.
