WR Tyreek Hill, MIA (5 Viewers)

I feel terrible for him because other then obvious money and possibly end of his career when he has a whole lot of kids to support is bad enough but I feel like his whole identity is his speed and rare athleticism and it's likely gone in an instant.

Not at all into some of these karma of off the field takes some of you have. What exactly has he done? And I don't mean accused, but what do you know that he actually did wrong other then sleep with a bunch of women and put out a litter of kids? We got one thing, the abuse of his girl in college, that's huge, but even that may not be true once more details came out about her after their kids broke arm. If someone wants to refute this hit me up with facts of what he's been convicted, plead or settled. Not accused by people seeking financial gain on him. He's got massive amount of drama around him, looks a certain way, but what has he actually done wrong?
Yeah, people root for guys and have no idea what they're like off the field. It's kind of interesting to see who FFers target. Guys like ARod, who by all accounts, has never been in trouble. It's kinda weird.

There's some people I might wish karma would work its magic, but it's reserved for humanity's worst.

I was never a fan of Hill due to the off field stuff. But no doubt the guy was insanely talented and unreal to watch play. Horrible injury and hate to see it. That might be it for his career. I guess we wait to see the final prognosis but this sounds like, at minimum, a 1 year recovery. I would find it hard to believe he is close to 100% to start next year.

This sums me up too as far as how I felt about the guy.

I think he's done - Even if he does come back with a viable leg, we're not talking about a Jerry Rice who built their game on hands and fundamentals - this is a guy who's game is based on being fast and agile to a level we rarely if ever see. Take a little bit of that away, and he's sadly JAG. Tough way to go.

Chubb is still playing and starting. He's a few years younger but at a position that has a much shorter shelf-life. I could see him potentially trying to sign on and play for someone in either '26 or '27. Whether that is as a high-level contributor obviously the odds are low but guys like Cooks and Diggs are still kicking around the league still...

It was ten years ago but he did plead guilty to domestic assault and battery by strangulation of his then pregnant girlfriend.

Tyreek's on the field ability has been an absolute pleasure to watch and enjoy. With this injury I doubt he returns to that. Was a good run buddy.

Watching NFL Live, just put up a quote from his agent saying surgery went well and he will play next season, goal is start of the season. Can take w/ grain of salt maybe since just got out of surgery and who knows impact of injury but optimistic news nonetheless

Easy for the agent to say. Hey, not a bad idea to be optimistic but many players take a year +. Not sure Hill has a year + and these significant injuries are much different for someone 32 vs 22.

Someone whose speed is his calling card going on 32 coming off an ACL injury will be ready for what exactly?

I'm not buying what Drew is selling, but I know he can't say the truth out loud.

Sure he can say anything but sounds like the worst of the fears were avoided. Diggs is 31 and seems to be back for the most part in under a year. Who knows what will happen but like the above poster said wouldn't put it past him.

I mean it sounds like you are pretty educated on the topic and have your opinion on him. Even as a Chiefs fan and having him in many fantasy teams throughout the years, I can’t downplay what he has done. We will just leave it there, I wanted to provide a link incase anyone else wasn’t aware.

Hopefully he has saved his money. He was fun to watch. He was one of a kind with Mahomes throwing him the ball.

A world of difference between the two injuries

Tyreek's injury is more severe, it will be a longer road back just wouldn't count him out

Completely agree with you on the bolded.

As to the rest. There have been multiple allegations of domestic abuse. I don't think anything has been proven (convictions). The most recent one happening right before this season.

ANY chance he’s back for the playoffs?
Playoffs in 2027, yes...

I am starting to think he may miss next year also. or at least a large chuck of it
The injury apparently isn't as bad as it looked. No cartilage or nerve damage. "Could" be back next year.

The could part isn't injury related. If he is still in the Dolphins I bet he has a setback, if he is traded I bet he is ready.
Yeah, I was wondering what his dedication level would be too? He's gonna have to hit therapy hard and train hard if he really wants to come back. I'm not sure he's devoted enough...but I could be wrong. He's got a lot of baby mammas and rugrats to feed.

Not the most important thing, but I'm sad because I think I was pretty right on his projection and upside this year and now I'll never know.

No guaranteed money next season and a $60M cap hit, his days as a Miami dolphin are over
Teams won't need to trade for him, he'll e available Post June 1st next yer for teams interested

-Also has an ongoing NFL investigation that hangs over him as well right now
