So far this year, who are the underperforming WR that were percevied and drafted as studs that you might expect to bounce back (Buy Low opportunity)?

Calvin Johnson (discussed in its own thread) ?

Marques Colston (that Brees rumor might have some ripple effect) ?

Greg Jennings ?

Steve Smith (CAR)?

Steve Smith (NYG)?

Hines Ward ?

or any other candidate to blow up going forward?

My thoughts on your list:Steve Smith (Giants) - He just had his first 100 yard game, I think the ships sailed on getting him low. Calvin Johnson/Greg Jenning/Colston - The owner probably paid too much for him and won't let him go cheaplyThey've disappointed but have potential to explode later so reputation alone is probably going to cost you more then they are worth nowSteve Smith (Carolina) - I don't think will do anything with his current QB situation. If you can get anything for him that helps you I'd probably do trade him myself. I would not start him now unless its shown the QB can get him the ball. I'm sure you could get him pretty cheap but I don't think he's worth it as starting him could cost you games Hines Ward - His owner probably is waiting for Ben R to show up before shipping him cheaplyMy own buy low WR's top 3 list this week are:1. Crabtree (Ranked 69th now)2. Driver (Ranked 53rd now)3. Bowe (Ranked 54th now)The feeling on these players can not be lower then it is right now. I've seen many owners dumping them for WW adds. My guess is before the seasons over they have all had a few productive games in them you'd wish you had on your team. I'd look to trade a RB5 for them if your bottom barrel scraping or last weeks WW grab but be patient because they wont turn it around immediately.

Michael Crabtree - New oc can only help one of the biggest busts of 2010 so far.Dwayne Bowe - We started to see some signs of life last week.Ray Rice -Has one more mediocre week vs Steelers then is money in the bank the rest of the way)Chad Henne - Will light the Patriots up this weekLance Moore - Bush is out and I think he is more talented than Meachem and Henderson.

the problem with Bowe is he's always in the 'buy low' bin, and never makes it to fantasy-star bin...he's going nowhere,fast.....I'd buy low on DHB, Steve Smith NYG if you can, D. Thomas (Denver) if possible..D. McClusterBraylon EdwardsSantonio HolmesMike Wallace..

I agree that the ship has sailed on NYG Steve Smith. I got him last week for pretty cheap, and I don't think it'd have happened this week.

Here's the thing about Steve Smith (CAR). I've had him on my dynasty team for six years. Just when you think the QB is so bad he's never going to do anything, or the matchup is looking terrible, Smitty comes up with a big game or three. The guy is just a really good football player, and can make TDs happen from anywhere on the field.

The first guy that comes to my mind that I'm trying to buy is Knox. He's the #1 wr, getting targets, getting recptions and yards just not the tds. An owner may see him down on the list of wrs and may be ready to deal him.

Its a matter of time until he has his breakout game where he scores 2 and goes for 150 and then it'll be too late.

Dez Bryant is a buy low. It's not that he hasn't played well, he just hasn't exploded yet.

Pierre Garcon will also get on track. Regardless of Collie, Pierre is a true deep threat, and the only legit one the Colts have. Wayne, Clark, Collie all do a great job but they cannot get as deep as Garcon in 3-5 seconds. When Pierre returns Peyton will dial him up.
