Same. Good stuff. That is what we've been waiting for. I sat him on my bench today, but gaining a lot of confidence seeing how he plays against a stout front seven for the Panthers.
I don't want to try and further derail the train, but I jumped ship this week. He was my RB4 and I packaged him with Mathews/Harvin to land Foster at an attempt to buy low (hopefully).I have Stacy as my RB 4 and considered starting him in the flex next Monday due to byes, but honestly I can't help but feel that St. Louis is going to be destroyed in this game; no Bradford, likely no home field advantage with the Cardinals playing and the Seahawks traveling well (there are tickets to the Monday nighter going for as low as $8.50 on Stub Hub), and Seattle getting healthier and possibly having Harvin back.
This is a recipe for a blowout. The only question is will St. Louis keep their starting RB late in the game for some possible garbage time TD's. You may be better off getting a waiver wire rental like Khiry Robinson, Hillis, James or Ivory (if he's available).
Blowouts can be good for RB value. He played the vast majority of snaps the last couple weeks, so hopefully he gets to stay in and catch dump offs against prevent defenses. This is a recipe for fantasy success, just look at Joique Bell in 2012 and Graham/Lumpkin in 2011.I have Stacy as my RB 4 and considered starting him in the flex next Monday due to byes, but honestly I can't help but feel that St.

That's not to say I'm high on him, just that there's a chance he's still a decent bye week filler this week. I figure on volume alone he should be in the RB25-36 range on a weekly basis with a chance at a TD bumping him up a tier like last week.
I have this exact same decision and I'm going with Stacy. Thomas' role is very dependent upon specific game plan for the week, and Payton makes lots of changes week to week in personnel packages and scheme, depending on opponent.Deciding between Stacy and Pierre Thomas in a PPR. Right now leaning Thomas since he has a better matchup.
I did notice that Dodds seems to like Stacy a bit this week. The Seattle D has me worried, especially with no Bradford.
I am, but take that with a grain of salt as my other options are BJGE and Joique. With 6 teams on bye and numerous injuries at the RB position, anyone starting him as a RB2 this week even in a very tough matchup?
I know the QB situation sucks and he's gonna face stacked boxes, but the potential for a TD is always there. Specifically in PPR, he's been catching more passes lately, new QB's tend to dump it off to RB's, and the Rams might have to throw a decent bit in garbage time. I think Stacy can be a pretty serviceable PPR RB2 this week in spite of the matchup.
That is true. At least Stacy is guaranteed touches. But the Bills defense is nothing special and I expect the Saints to be able to put up points. Gonna come down to a game time call for me.I have this exact same decision and I'm going with Stacy. Stacy will get his 15-17 touches minimum, and even in a tough matchup, that's the deciding factor for me.
I see much less chance they try to get cute on the goal line like they did with Bradford too. It's a crap match up but what else are the Rams going to do on offense with Clemmens at QB? They are going to try and play keep-away and grind out long drives. I don't think it will work for them but the game plan has to be to rely heavily on the running game.
if they can make it that far...good pointI see much less chance they try to get cute on the goal line like they did with Bradford too. It's a crap match up but what else are the Rams going to do on offense with Clemmens at QB? debating using him instead of nicks and denarius moore at flex....hating the matchup.I cant believe its come to this but I am actually starting Stacy Sunday in a bad matchup and benching my #1 draft pick CJ Spiller in a good matchup. I just picked Stacy up of the wire because of Chris Johnson and Ryan Matthews bye weeks and C.J. Spiller's ineffectiveness. So damn the torpedo's full speed ahead. He is ranked #16 this week by Fantasypro's in spite of the tough run defense but that is likely due to his use as a dump off for the new QB and the fact there are not many other weapons on that offense. Here's hoping for a decent game anyhow.

I'm starting him this week. Looking like I will have to start Stacy over Spiller as well. I have Forte on bye, Charles starting though.I cant believe its come to this but I am actually starting Stacy Sunday in a bad matchup and benching my #1 draft pick CJ Spiller in a good matchup. WTF kinda question is that in the Stacy thread?Going forward who would you rather have? Hilton or Stacy?
If Graham doesn't play, does that change your view? I feel like if Graham doesn't play, Thomas could be involved more in the running game and short passing game. Could be wrong though, but that's how I see it.I have this exact same decision and I'm going with Stacy. As a rare 3-down back, he could sneak into the EZ once or more. Here's hoping. This is a train into a brick wall tonight. Good luck with that.
I don't like his odds of starting next year. I'd be very surprised if the Rams didn't look to free agency or the draft to find their RB of the future.Does anyone have a good feel for this guy's keeper/dynasty value? Seems like more opportunity over talent which is probably why there isn't much excitement around him, but would it be fair to think he's likely going to be starting next year as well?
Too early to say that. Still a half season of evaluation to go.I don't like his odds of starting next year. If they think Stacy can get the job done, they look like a franchise with more than few other areas to strengthen.I don't like his odds of starting next year. He was asking for people's opinions/feeling on the situation, and I gave mine after weighing the circumstances and what I've seen so far. Personally, I don't think it's "fair to think he's likely going to be starting next year as well."Y ou don't have to take it as scripture, but no, it's not too early to say that.Too early to say that. My thoughts as well. Stacy doesn't look like a future stud but teams don't need a stud RB to win Super Bowls. He looks plenty capable of being their starter to me.If they think Stacy can get the job done, they look like a franchise with more than few other areas to strengthen.I don't like his odds of starting next year.
