FX was fine for me.

Ok episode. Not much really happened. Gemma is a #####, but she's not a killer. We knew that. Clay and Jax are fighting because of the Donna incident. We knew that. Jax's "Old Lady" is struggling with becoming part of the club. We knew that. The episode just kind of developed the stories a tiny bit. This was sort of a 'one off' episode with the Tigg thing as the catalyst to keep you interested.

Yep, I felt the same way....average ep at best. I thought the whole Tig subplot was pretty stupid though. I did enjoy Gemma and Chief visiting the Cigar Shop. Rollins pwns in this role. His swagger cracks me up.

Gemma is a #####, but she's not a killer.
I thought the whole thing with him answering the phone-call from his kid just as she's about to pull the trigger was really clunky. I don't know they could've done that differently, but that was pretty rough. Not only are Clay and Jax fighting, but Opie's now clearly siding up with Jax, which will inevitably lead to a schism with Piney. It did kind of advance the big plotlines along, but I thought the gun run was interesting to watch.

I think he's on Clay's side but Jax won't tell him the truth because that will screw up everything

Sorry, duh, I mean Clay. I'm an ###.

Saw an ad for this show a few months back, so I set my Tivo to record as many as it could. I now have all episodes from Season 1, #8 up to now.

How important is it to go back and view the first 7 shows of season 1? Are we going to miss alot in the plot?

BTW, I'm lovin this show. My old next door neighbor was the President of the local SB Hells Angels, and as much as I hated their constant recruiting, I loved riding and partying with those guys....but...I'm glad I moved

I picked up the show around where you did. You can follow it but definitely go back and watch the first 7 when you get some free time. mininova.org is your friend

How long does it take for weekly episodes to get on fx.com or Hulu?

I've been waiting for this past week's episode, and it's still not up.

Another slow build episode. I guess the developments in the sheriff's office were fairly significant...but not surprising. Tara bringing up the FBI agent (Dutch from The Shield) that she and Jax killed was interesting...and not telling Gemma anything about it was kind of a strong moment for Tara I think.

Seems as though Clay is 'softening' a bit. He didn't get upset at all when his support fell short of the support Jax got...Clay just accepted it.

The battle for Charming should come to a head here soon. If they try to bleed it out for more than a few episodes, it's going to get stale. I'm already annoyed a little bit. GET. IT. ON already.

Still love the show. Even these past two episodes have kept my interest at a high level...and I'd call them 2 of the 3 most forgettable episodes of the whole series.

 There's no way SAMCRO holds back now. Attacking Otto in prison is one thing, but hitting them where they live is another. The basis for holding back was that they were convinced that the Aryans were "using the law" and were just trying to goad them into making a hasty move. That's out the window now.

I thought last night was the best episode of the season. I watched the re-airing and I usually don't do that.

I thought it was one of the better episodes of the series. I like how Gemma is starting to look at Jax side of things.

"get off your high horse" and stop complaining... love that line

Good episode last night. I think this show is every bit as good as Rescue Me so I'm glad to have it to watch on Tuesdays. I need to watch the first season because I really like the show but don't know a lot of the backstory (Opie's wife, etc.) But this is the only non-football show of the week that I make a point to watch.

Clay's reaction was hilarious

Do you want to know Opie's wife and other backstories?

mytagid = Math.floor( Math.random() * 100 );document.write("The short version is this. The gang used to have a place out of town where they stored guns etc, burned down and in the basement were 2 chicks that Tig was banging. I forget if that is what brought the ATF in but basically the ATF came in. I forget who exactly this one guy was but he had goods on Samcro so Opie and Bobby went to kill the guy. This was a test for Opie because he was being pulled from his wife to not be involved with the club because he just got out of prison because another ex-member was responsible for Opie doing time. (They later burned that guys tatoo of his back because he was a poser). Bobby pulled the trigger but there was a witness.

The ATF chick framed Opie to make it look like he flipped on SAMCRO. Jax fought for Opie saying no way he flipped etc etc etc. Tig found a bug in Opies phone and car. Opie did not know he was being tailed and about the bugs. Clay ordered a hit on Opie but make it look like one of the other gangs did it ( the 9'ers).

They were at a party for Jax baby coming home (he was not well when born). Opie trying to be a good husband and the wife coming around to the club again, Opie said he would take the kids and for her to take his truck home. She did and Tig made the drive by hit on the truck and ended up killing Opie's wife. Jax knows this and Opie's dad does too.

That's where all the tension is coming from especially because Clay told Jax and the club he wouldn't do anything to Opie.

There were some other pieces with Otto looked like he was going to rat but he ended up smashing the ATF womans face on a table after he got what he wanted for his wife (Luann). Samcro went and killed the witness also and that's how Bobby ended up getting out of jail.

There are other small things like the gangs, etc but that's the backstory between Clay, Opie, Jax tension *** SPOILER ALERT! Click this link to display the potential spoiler text in this box. ***

SAMCRO is getting played like a violin by AB. I guess they'll spend the next week or two in jail. I'm telling you: at some juncture its going to get out that Peg Bundy was raped and the gang is going to go bonkers.

It looks like the only one who was there but didn't get arrested was Opie. It should be interesting to see the next few weeks with him presumably on the outside leading the club (with his father, I guess?) and everyone else in prison.

anyone else sick of the "love interest" angle with Jax?

hell, all interaction with his gf and Peg Bundy could be cut out.. it would save 10 minutes an episode.

just stick with the gangster ####

I was actually hoping for a lesbian love making scene where we see Jax's girl and Peg. An ### shot would be nice, maybe an outline of the boobs like they used to do with NYPD Blue and a muff dive.

Great ending to last week's episode with Jax splitting from the rest of the group. Season 2 is totally living up to the standards set by season 1 if you ask me. This is my favorite show right now. I've especially enjoyed the acting by Sheriff Unser and Jax and Opie. All 3 are outstanding. The storylines are believable and avoid being corny while still being over-the-top. Tough balance to keep.

When Jax mentioned the murder of the agent (Dutch from The Shield) and her eyes gave the reaction...totally awesome scene.

I think the development of the Gemma/Tara relationship has been interesting.

Only 5 episodes left this season...I thought last night's was another really solid show. I don't really like the Tom Arnold sleazy character storyline, but it worked well enough to get Jax in hot water for his actions. Tough to maintain the high ground when you just pushed somebody into killing a friend of yours.

They've done a great job of building up Zobelle...the little in-fighting with them was an interesting dynamic that's sure to lead to somebody helping SAMCRO. Zobelle's daughter is all kinds of hot.

It wasn't Jax who decided to go after the guy. It was Opie. Jax and the other dude just agreed and followed suit. When does Clay get in to hot water for his actions, like trying to get a loyal club member killed and getting the whole club minus Opie arrested for an ill advised attack on Zobel? I'm almost hoping Jax takes out Clay. I'm really getting sick of him.

Jax was helping out Opie...but he's the VP, it's his call and his responsibility. Just like if Tigg would want something and Clay would help him out...whatever they did would fall on Clay's shoulders.

Clay would have done the same thing if he found out what had happened at the porn shop. It's not like anyone ANTICIPATED Tom Arnold going murderer on them. What Opie and Jax did was a no brainer. That whole story line is dumb to me. No sleazy porn producer is gonna mess with an established biker club, especially in an area such as that. Not to mention that the porn capital of the world is in So. Cal., not up where they're at. It makes sense that a biker club's wife might be doing porn up there but not many other porn producers.

I totally agree. Clay would definitely have done the same thing. That doesn't change the fact that Clay will use it as leverage against Jax. "I wasn't there. You didn't include me and look what happened."

That's why I almost hope Jax puts a cap in him next week. Although other than this blind old school way of thinking he's been exhibiting lately, I do like Clay. But he's almost single handedly responsible for this mess and all he keeps doing is trying to deflect the blame on to his V.P.
