Gonna have to postpone. Wind kicking up and chance of rain in a bit. We will reschedule.Just me and @gianmarco, my hero. Things may get crazy. FYI, I’m going shirtless.
Yeah, coach juxt knew better. No kidding. Going for a bunch of old vets instead of young roomies. Crazy that coach gru.

Still here! Just been having trouble getting the engine started lately due to this lockdown....I mean drinking and working on my cocktail skillz....My team is falling apart!
Good luck to half of you!OMG, today's the day.
Good luck, some of you!
2" on the ground right now with another 2-4" expected tomorrow. April in Cleveland...Nothing like waking up the day before race day to it snowing outside.

I am guessing @Juxtatarot will start his race Saturday at 2 PM based on the weather forecast and his course layout. 19 mph wind from the SW.@Juxtatarot you just ran a 5K this morning at a pace that you used to scope the course. That's the same pace I hope to achieve when I'm running at 100%! Hah. #BMF.
I HATE afternoon running.I am guessing @Juxtatarot will start his race Saturday at 2 PM based on the weather forecast and his course layout. 19 mph wind from the SW.
Do the Saturday cocktails and race Sunday. It'll be fine. And don't sleep much.My favorable opinion on afternoon running is well documented, but I really wanted to race late Sat morning. I'm not even sure I'll have dry conditions Sat afternoon. I'm currently debating between Saturday evening and just waiting til Sunday. But I also really want a few zoom cocktails Saturday night.
Nothing, not a moment of your miserable existence is believable...until you are on STRAVA. You are persona non grata to the human race.NOT YET YOU GD STRAVA POLICE!!
And you’re going to give us OBJ. Looking to be a glorious weekend!2" on the ground right now with another 2-4" expected tomorrow. April in Cleveland...
I did this Senior year of high school. We called it 'The Experiment.' Will drinking and going to bed late the night before a race impact performance? Through 2 miles I was on PR pace. The next thing I remembered my coaches were peeling me off the side of the course some time later.Do the Saturday cocktails and race Sunday. It'll be fine. And don't sleep much.
Hate you even more now non-STRAVA person, quit breathing my air.And you’re going to give us OBJ. Looking to be a glorious weekend!
One time isn't proof of anything. You should find out if those results still hold true.I did this Senior year of high school. We called it 'The Experiment.' Isn't the gold standard double blind? Does anyone know how to make placebo alcohol? One time isn't proof of anything. You should find out if those results still hold true.

Which club, the "accepts everyone" club or the exclusive club?Ok ok. I give. Signed up for Strava. Requested access to the “club.” Please don’t laugh.
The former, obviously.gruecd said:Which club, the "accepts everyone" club or the exclusive club?
Hmmm...They would be the three that put privacy deals on their accounts so in order to see their workouts I HAD to follow them.
You know there's a tab where you can see only your stuff, right? It's one tap away.I just don't like having a massive feed when I first log into strava. I like to find my workouts first, and then go to the Club feed to see what everyone else is doing.
Just personal preference, that's all.
No.You know there's a tab where you can see only your stuff, right? It's one tap away.
In case you aren't just trying to be funny, at the top of your feed, there's 3 tabs.
Ah, gotcha. They must have just added that feature this week or something. In case you aren't just trying to be funny, at the top of your feed, there's 3 tabs.

136 HR and I don't eat breakfast.Yeah, he just laid this out there all la-di-da style:
juxt: I'm just gonna go out for an easy 5k right on the nose at a pace of 7:13 and won't even break a sweat just to make sure the guys know my 5k route is cool but all the while I'm strutting my stuff out there at a HR of 92 for this run after which I went home and crushed some bacon eggs and toast
136 HR and I don't eat breakfast.
I’ll track the team averages based on Strava dataSo is anyone racing today?
Also, where is all this being compiled?
I'm not running juxt's paces
This is what is so amazing to see. If I ran that pace my HR would be 195.
Already done. We call it "lite beer."Dr_Zaius said:Does anyone know how to make placebo alcohol?

It really is crazy. I felt great last Saturday. Since then, I've dialed back distance and pace. Today 1/4 mile in I was like "wtf is with my right knee" and the thoughts just transferred to other locations throughout the run.My legs are well rested... and feel horrible.
