I enjoyed how it went from just $0.02 for each dollar over 50 million to we're going to tax the hell out of the rich.  Nobody that runs on increasing capitol gains tax is getting my vote.

Trump should have cut capital gains taxes in his tax bill.  Hope he eventually does that in his second term.

Serious question - she is ultra progressive, why would you support her and not Ocasio-Cortez or Tlaib? They share the same views on criminal justice reform, which aside from bear hugging Assad, appears to be her primary platform.

I'm only personally aware of a dollar amount about equal to 25% of 5 billion being awarded.  I assume it's part of the defense spending that Trump diverted.  Awarded means the government, Army Corps of Engineers in this case, is under contract to private construction companies to build portions of the wall.  It wouldn't take too much effort on my part to find out a lot more specifics if people are really that interested in.  I spent about 3 months overseeing some of the design and construction of the boarder fences in El Paso and McAllen under the Obama administration. Although technically the Secure Fence Act of 2006 was signed by George W.

I happened to talk to one of my colleagues that knows about this current project so I thought I'd follow up.  The complete contract is still under negotiation, however, it's expected to reach 1.3 billion total awarded to the contractor.  The contractor was green lighted to start building on Monday.  It consists of 86 miles of border fence/walls on the border south of Tuscon, AZ.  The contract is set up for the government to pay the contractor twice a week so that the contractor wouldn't be underwater if any legal case came up to shut the project down and freeze funds.

I hope it's ok to use first, or second hand knowledge in this case.  I don't have any links.

I missed the exchange, only read about it later.  I thought it had to do with pot smokers and some people on death row that were falsely accused.  I wouldn't call either of those criminals.

It's really odd what you guys pull for. Gabbard loves Assad and is anti-prosecution, anti-cop, and Harris is assailed for protecting the police and prosecution, and yet here you are just gobbling it up.

Gabbard attacked her for death row prosecutions - conservatives? Trump just reinstituted the death penalty - for prosecuting for pot, for running interference for prosecution, for setting bail on defendants. You really have a problem with this stuff?

Please socialists alley is down the hall and to the left.

It would take 3 weeks for Joe Biden to find enough supporters to fill this sold out venue President Trump is at right now.  Remember that Team D.
