Even if everyone agreed with you on this it would still be too costly to round up and deport 10-15 million people. Surely you realize this. So the question then becomes, what do we do about them that would benefit us? Not benefit them, but benefit you and me? I believe the answer is to make them legal, make them start paying into the system more than they are now. How about this Tim, we build a big wall where feasible, have electronic monitoring where it’s not, deport those that have been here for less than a period of time then talk about who gets to stay. Oh and I’d like for us to change the policy and allow us to determine what we need and only allow that type of person in.

Which again costs us more if they’re NOT included. But here’s the most important thing- they’re young. They don’t need doctors the way older folks do. If they are allowed to purchase insurance under some form of Obamacare (not Medicare for All), they actually bring your costs down, not up. Iran has extremist hard liners, and they have genuine terrorist sleeper cells. The standing Executive Order against US conducting killings of foreign officials partly exists because of the concern not only about starting wars but asymmetrical threats like this. It's not hard to imagine that when the US starts doing this that other countries will as well, especially outlaw nations like Iran and North Korea. It was surely part and parcel of Trump' decision making in killing Soleimani so I'm sure the administration is prepared for it.

That was a defense of Trump. Absolutely not - Iran is acting illegally. It's Trump's own Executive Order and the original was put in place in the 1970s for just this reason. I'm just saying that Trump likely included it in his calculus in the attack on Soleimani and the other attacks on IRGC and PMF senior leadership. From the above link: President Trump announced the United States will join a 1 trillion trees initiative launched at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. The initiative encourages countries to collectively plant 1 trillion trees to absorb carbon dioxide in order to combat climate change. Trump, a skeptic of climate change, did not mention it in his remarks at the Davos summit Tuesday, instead speaking generally about the importance of better managing trees and forests. "We're committed to conserving the majesty of God’s creation and the natural beauty of our world," Trump said, adding that the U.S. "will continue to show strong leadership in restoring, growing, and better managing our trees and our forests." The Dems aren't foolish enough to think that 67 Senators will vote for removal. They just want the American citizens (the voters) to hear the actual evidence. If the public hears that Parnas and Yovanovich and the rest were dead-on with thei testimony and this whole thing was a filthy extortion attempt, it is going the GREATLY affect the 2020 election.
