Update here for whoever cares:. Again it's a 12 team ppr 1 qb dynasty league. Through pick 10 now
1) edwards hellaire
2) Taylor
3) Swift
4) the guy that was behind me at 1.6 in need of rb help traded up from 1.6 for Dobbins
5) I took Akers since I had 1.7 and 1.8 and had no preference between Jeudy and Lamb
6) Lamb
7) Jeudy
8) Jefferson
9) Reagor
10) Vaughn

I'm up at 2.8 next

12 team dynasty ppr (qb rb wr wr te fx fx df) ...... 26 man rosters
Qb Rodgers, Baker, Foles, Rosen
Rb - zeke, mccaffrey, Fournette, Guice, Akers
Wr - obj, m thomas, evans, juju, C davis, metcalf, deebo, campbell, hollywood brown, Jeudy, Jefferson
Te - henry, Engram, Gronk, Fant, Njoku
D - seattle

LOL I honestly didn't even see it until i picked 2.3 and was stunned.
Yeah, everyone has somebody that reached somewhere, but that jumped the Antonio Gibson shark. To be fair though, he might have really wanted him and IIRC, his next pick was 2.11, or 23 overall, so...

awfully hard to judge in a vacuum, as they say.

You've got to be stoked about this beginning. That Pittman fell and Claypool went 2.1 is a coup for you.

Blake Jarwin was a great pick in this draft. He'll produce for 2-3 years before you'll  get to start any of the other ones.

You've got to be stoked about this beginning. That Pittman fell and Claypool went 2.1 is a coup for you.
Thanks, I was shocked Claypool went that early, although I do think Steelers are the best at scouting WR talent. But yeah, for me, I like Pittman's situation better than Mims and Aiyuk. With Mims, well, its the Jets. And not sure Jimmy G can make 2 WRs fantasy relevant as much as they run the ball and feed Kittle.

Steelers are great at scouting WR talent. Claypool going that early could be that the guy saw his chance in that round instead of 3.1 or whenever he picks next. I'm just saying, as far as ADP goes, that fell nicely for you. 1.01 and 1.02 seem like givens, but you didn't overthink, which is great.

I overthought a bit and traded out of 1.01, so it can happen.

I did too in one league, traded 1.1 for Godwin, Cohen, and $50 BBID (which is half of what we get for the year). Sometimes I second guess if I should have done that, but this roster needed WRs as much as RBs.

Godwin for 1.1 is a no brainer. You got over on that one. There's nobody in this class really near him, IMHO. Taylor is the only calc value near his.

Just finished this one.

I didn't have many picks, team is pretty well stacked. Got Jalen Hurts after the draft to back up Wentz hence my ####ty team name.

1/2 PPR 1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 2 FLEX (RB-WR, WR-TE) 22 man roster

https://www54.myfantasyleague.com/2020/options?L=52065&O=17

Hurts us a bum.
question to all you drafters about Hurts.

is the team with wentz taking him for a backup.  or are qb hungry other teams throwing a stash dart?

i am a wentz owner and feel having hurts is mandatory.  42, is where i plan on taking him, hopefully.

however if the trend is that he is being handcuffed, then i may be able to wait on hem and use that pick on some other rb/wr faller.

I'd trade Godwin for Taylor if it was a start at least 2 RB mandatory.

This is some proof of what @FreeBaGeL was saying - CEH going at 2.07. I'd guess that's still a full round later than Kamara, but it's closer than the things I posted earlier.

EDIT: Sorry - this was meant for the dynasty trades thread. But I'll leave it here too.

I wouldn't, but that's why the "your mileage may vary" acronym goes YMMV.

I can certainly see why though. I'm just pretty convinced that Chris Godwin, all around, is the best receiver in football once Jones retires or falls off a bit. He's faster than Nuk and Adams, he's tough, he's a great catcher of the football, his height and weight are more than adequate. He's got it all.

NICE!!

Tex

I drafted Dillon over Gibson and had immediate buyer's remorse that only keeps growing by the day. Perhaps that will be unfounded, but it sure looks like 4.39 when he runs. :(

Totally the correct decision. Might not work out but you made the best pick you could make.

Gibson went before Moss or Dillion in the rookie draft I just completed. I was bummed as I thought Gibson would be there in the 3rd right after the NFL draft finished...but the buzz is real and he's going in the late 1st and 2nd now in a lot of drafts. As a lifelong Skins fan I hope he warrants that hype!

I hope you guys are right. I think you are, actually, I just get so intrigued by speed.  Then again, Dillon's speed score was like in a stratospheric percentile, so it's just a different speed.
Cordelle Patterson and Ty Montgomery were decent Swiss army knifes, but never very good FF players.  I think you made the right call.

This draft makes me want to trade my first rounders for second rounders.

This draft makes me want to trade my first rounders for second rounders.
My beef with Superflex leagues is that it makes QBs too important.  With standard or PPR leagues you can give additional scoring for RB, WR, TE without making their value grossly outweigh the other positions.  You can give QBs 6 pts per TD instead of 4 to increase their value, but not increase their value too much compared to the other positions.

Did someone select Bowden thinking they were selecting Gibson?

Way low for Tua.

12 team dynasty league, been going for probably 12-15 years now. Very experienced and competitive league. Draft so far (my picks in bold) and I'll update as the draft progresses. Just standard 1 PPR (no special scoring) starting 1qb, 2rb, 3wr, 1te, 1 flex:

1.1 Taylor

1.2 CEH

1.5 Swift

1.6 Akers

1.7 Jeudy

1.10 Ruggs

1.11 Vaughn

1.12 Higgins

2.1 Claypool

2.2 Pittman

2.3 Mims

2.4 Burrow

2.5 Aiyuk

2.6 Shenualt

2.7 Gibson

2.8 Tua

2.9 Dillion

2.10 Moss

2.11 Evans

2.12 Edwards

3.1 Bowden

3.2 Gronkowski

3.3 McFarland

3.4 Kelley

3.5 Hamler

3.6 Benjamin

3.7 Herbert

3.8 Gandy-Golden
