Not sure where this falls in the "dream pop" timeline but it was probably the first dream pop album that I remember listening to front to back. Brings back great memories of warm summer nights hanging with high school friends. I've always felt this album has a kind of "The Doors" sound/vibe/influence specifically songs like "Riders on the Storm" and "The End". 

Fade Into You is probably in my top 3 songs of all time.

My acoustic duo does Fade into you.   There actually a lot of songs on our set list from this list which makes sense since we are trying to play popular songs.   There are a few songs though that I wouldn’t have ever thought about covering and this is one of them.   The first obstacle is that I’m a dude singing the song.    Honestly, I only vaguely remembered it from back in the day but it’s amazing how many people seem to know the song.   That is one cool woman though.   I love cool women.

I wanted that record bad, but accidentally spotlighted it early, and knew I was toast.

There's no way I'm taking it but in its day I really loved the album before this, their big career revival record

Alright, with @wazoo11 already drafting the other one and @rockaction doing hip hop and the pop music drafters otherwise maybe few and far between, this may be an overdraft but this album is pretty much perfect IMO (though I may also have taken Melodrama first) Plus if Mrs. NV is on the island with me she needs it there and she helped mulch this afternoon.

Also, 'Ribs' is the best Lorde song by miles. 'Royals' is like the 7th best song on this.

There is an album out there that was enormously popular that hasn't been drafted.  I won't be drafting it. This artist has been drafted once already, and I do like the album that was drafted.

I love melancholy music. I love upbeat music too, but I can listen to melancholy music no matter what mood I'm in.
